Dear glock, I have an experience id like to share with you that i believe is a testament to the reliability of your firearms. I recently fulfilled my dream of kayaking from indiana starting on the ohio river to new Orleans. The trip took me 3 months. I decided to take my glock 26 equipped with a dueck rmr mount (with rmr), streamlight tlr6 and zev trigger. The pistol stayed on my waist the entire trip in a 5.11 select carry fanny pack. Let me clear, this is a dirty trip! Mud, soot, and water gets EVERYWHERE!! Day 7 i realized i didnt pack my cleaning kit. The gun literally was never cleaned from start to finish. Once i got home back to indiana i decided to see if the gun worked. Fired all 16 rnds from a g19 mag without a single problem. Keep in mind the gun was absolutely filthy and hadn't been cleaned in 3 months. Thanks for making an awesome gun!

Bull shit. There's a reason why their is such a large aftermarket for parts. It's because the bare bones stock glock sucks so hard they had to force a demand for new parts. If you think your glock is so reliable go shoot lead loads through it and see what happens you fucking dumb ass motherfucker. Oh sure you can go spend another 300 bucks on a lone wolf barrel and now have what is essentially a 900$ plastic gun that still has fuck awful ergonomics and terrible sights compared to other guns that are much cheaper. The ruger max 9 is basically almost the same gun as the 43x but has a million times better ergonomics and is half the price plus it comes with glow in the dark sights. Glock has never changed a fucking thing on any of their guns. They are incredibly outdated and show their age yet you idiots still eat it all up.

@@D.L.W. Multiple calibres?? You mean you can change the barrel and the ejector so it will run 9x19mm? It MAY fire two calibres, and .40S&W is very much dead. Many agencies have switched back to 9x19mm. The FBI did a comprehensive study of .40S&W and concluded that the life cycle of a .40S&W gun is HALF that of a 9x19mm gun. You also have more felt recoil and fewer rounds onboard. Do tell, where are the benefits to the above?? Oh wait, I know. Is it "stopping power"??? That is such an old debunked mythical belief it's far from funny. The average number of rounds required to stop a threat(as researched via several hundred LE and civilian shootings) is 3 rounds. That is for ALL calibres. So if we need on average 3 rounds to stop a threat, why would I choose a calibre with fewer rounds onboard, more recoil, and shorter equipment life?? If you're a .40S&W fanboy it's because you got sucked into the excellent marketing by Smith and Wesson and Federal. It's ok, you're just wrong.

When is Glock releasing the Gen5 version of the G23??
@D.L.W.5 жыл бұрын
Gen 5's will always be nothing more than 9mm. Gen 5 Glocks are 2 pin, Gen 4's are 3 pin which is better. The third pin actually came about because of the 10mm G20. The recoil impulse at the locking block was causing the plastic to stretch and the locking block was rotating around that single forward pin resulting in the forward legs of the block to move up and hit the bottom of the barrel and slide, leading to jams. This all happened in development so there are NO 2-pin G20s. The G21 came out simultaneously with the G20, and for commonality, they made all the G21s also 3-pin. The G22 had come out just a year or two before the G20, and the very early G22s have 2-pin frames. A similar recoil-impulse/locking block rocking problem developed with the 40s&w in the small frame, so Glock quickly modified the G22 design to the 3-pin style. Eventually, the G18 also got this treatment and I believe the G26 started out with 3-pin frames, and then Glock decided, again for commonality/one production standard for all frames, that all the 9mms would be built on 3-pin frames. Not sure of the year on that, but it was much later than the G20/21/22/23 3-pin frames. Is one type better then the other? Yes, 3rd pin is for the locking block, the most stressed part.
