But you should see what happens when I say Zelda BoTW is a bad game that relies on good graphics, or that Switch isnt really portable because no one carries it with them where they go. As an amateur game developer, if the game stops you at a certain Y position, it typically doesn't set you to OnGround state, so you typically don't take fall damage. Alternatively, a float cannot really overflow. But the further you get from 0, the less precise everything gets. So you can just imagine how painful it could be.

Unless it’s stored in as an IEEE-754 floating point number, in which case, it will eventually overflow into Infinity and you’ll get stuck there until the admins save you by teleporting you out of there.
