like hunters dont have traps, disengage and freedom + good cc or mages have several blinks + sheeps/rings or locks have multiple ports & cc or ele has several cc and tankiness + disruptions or evoker has mobility as well as some defensives

There is no getting away from melee...tbs there is also no casting available while a melee is on you with the gazilion micro cc they are equiped with...

The best way to counter melee is to have 1000000IQ and never make a single mistake and play as sweaty as possible, while the melee click their spells and keybinds with one hand.

I appreciate your anecdotal evidence and feelcrafting, but a quick glimpse at the actual PvP leaderboard would suggest otherwise. I know it’s hard to accept that maybe it’s just a you problem though.

@endocry the leaderboard is not an indicator of whether or not melee is easier than ranged my friend. I've been playing wow since vanilla. Range is harder to play. Facts. The entire pvp community, even the pro players would agree. Just check out skill-capped

I wish we could have a virtual bubble wrap arround out characters in solo. The amount of times I lose rounds people people kite into me or our team mate is absurd

There is one simple counter that works against every Ranged DPS in the game. And that is using their spacing to single target one guy because they can't help each other. And gap close with things like roll or charge to do damage, then snare or root to keep from being kited. You'll see this used by top teams playing DH or Rogue or warrior or monk or any melee dps, and given equal skill they just about always win. This works against ALL ranged. They will try to run. You have to catch up and kill them. Right now, especially, double ranged like Double Lock are pure desperation picks. Herp derp herp derp pay me money to teach you how to pvp.

Yes. But I'm not allowed to tell you unless you pay me. But I will give you a hint. Go watch the last AWC cup, and then ask Echo if they are going to sign up for Skill Capped classes to learn how to kite melee.

A sloppy ranged will get devoured by a decent melee a decent ranged will mop up a sloppy melee, playing a caster has a significantly higher skill cap meaning a really good caster can be nearly impossible for a melee to stick to. Skill is everything but both have disadvantages.

That‘s true. I have xp with mage of 5 years. I made a dh for fun played it 1 hour and got 80k more dps LOL

As a 2280 arms warrior, and 2200 dh. In going to figure out a way to get you or make you useless. I'll be able to just tell why your winning in the moment and I'll exploit it. Sure these guides will help low elo, but don't expect any of this to work on a high elo player, because you also add a range require LOS to deal damage and I'll triangulate you right out of being effective. Probably have a better advantage to win than you have.

Lol, nah, you are just playing 2 zug zug classes. Don't let your ego get you. There is a reason why wars/DH have the highest win rates, lowest first bloods. There is a reason why there are more wars/DHs in higher MMR s in SS. There is a reason why they are the current most played class .. and it is not because the players playing them have skill or are better than the rest. So get down your high horses..
