There might be over 17,000 footballers in FIFA, but I'd be more surprised if you haven’t tried to sign one of Mathys Tel, Rico Lewis & Jamie Bynoe-Gittens in a save. I’m convinced everyone knows about the dozen wonderkids in the database, but it gets a lot harder to find the wonderkids a few seasons in.
On day one, you’ll have about thirty players with over 90 potential. We all know these guys, the Haaland, Mbappe & Messi tier players. By the end of season three, this number will be closer to 10. You can find dozens of wonderkids in really weird places if you know where to look. Today i’ll be sharing every tip I know to find, and develop them as quickly as possible.

It's always a good idea to change positions of youth players to 1/2 different options then either return to the position they began, or their highest rated one, then focus their training on developing stats specifically for that position... for example, Trent Alexander Arnold reaches +2 higher in CDM, and +3 higher in CM. While the wonderkid, Hato, reaches +3 more as a CDM. This is because Hato has alot of pace and ability on the ball, good for midfielders, while his defensive qualities from being a cb make him a brilliant cdm. While Trent lacks pace, he still as extremely high stats as a rwb who lacks pace, most the abilities that are good for rb also good for cm, especially ball control and his passing ability... It's important to think about this when looking at youth players potential.. if they are really fast and don't have great shooting but are a ST, they will be better wingers. Or if they have great shooting but lack passing ability and are CAM, they will be better as ST 👌

You can increase a players potential by loaning them out then saving your game. Bring the player back from loan & see if there price and potential goes up. if not reload and try again, this may take a few attemps but could happen first try. You can repeat this many times in a transfer window to take a player to 90+ potential. Even a player aged 22 can gain a potential of 90+ if hes a 86+ and his value increases a substantial amount & pretty much guaranteed if you do this twice with 2 large value increases.

It’s been like this for years However it’s actually terrible they just need to fix dynamic potential. There is no reason a player needs to lose potential. It just doesn’t make sense. They should only get a development boost for exeptional play or for being played in a lot of games and then at 26-28 get a potential downgrade if they haven’t achieved top potential by then. This system would work much better and be more realistic.

Something I always do at the start of every season is search for free agents with the age set between 16-19. I go through by position and you find some insane talents and can sign them for free. You get a lot of players between 70 and 75 rating with 85+ potential, great for filling out your squad, and a handful of players will be 80+ rating with sometimes 90+ potential (especially CF’s for some reason, there’s always insane CF’s). I prefer it to having a bunch of 60 something rated youth team talents in my squad who aren’t really good enough to use yet, I send those out on loan and use the free agents as my squad players.

In fifa career I’ve never really gone down the road of free agents. I find making my own youth players is just as easy. They say the best countries are Argentina or Brazil but I’ve found about 10 players in all positions from Chile with massive potential! I’m currently trying to build the Chile national team to win them the WC 😉

Is it just me or has Jesus Ferreira from FC Dallas been one of the most devastating wonder kids to sign for the last 4 installments of FIFA. I've had to actually stop myself from signing him in every save I have. He always gets to 90+ within 4 or 5 seasons. Absolute FIFA Beast.

genuine question. out of all free agents, they usually show something like 'finding for a new club' instead of showing their potential range. how can i identify talents from the free agents section?

Free agents always show a range of stats. Sort by age and role (att, mid, def, gk) Then just quickly move down the list and look for lots of green. The 93 rated free agent wonder kids will be super easy to spot. The 75 and up wonder kids will also have quite a bit of green in their stats range. When you've exhausted a list, change the search filters to move to the next group. The reason you have to add filters is because the free agent pool is so big that you can't view them all at once. If you find a free agent that's showing a lot of green stats, but their critical positional stats like stand tackle (for a CB) are low, then that means they have the wrong the position and you can turn them into a wonderkid by performing a position change on them.

Personally i hate that the only way new players can be generated (except for youth academy) is regens and pregens. Every time i find a young player that looks good my first thought should be "wow look at this gem ive found, i wonder how much i can develop them and what overall i could get them to." Instead my first thought is "this guy looks like he might have a good potential, i wonder who he is a regen/pregen of." For me it just ruins the excitement of finding wonderkids and hidden gems cus as soon as you find them you know exactly what their potnetial is. At least now there is the possibilty to gtow them beyond their potential with dynamic potential but id still much rather find some unheard of 17 year old from india and develop him into one of the best players in the world compared to finding a regen/pregen and knowing they are pre-determined to become one of the best players in the world

EA would just say that that is what you use the Youth Academy for, to find those players in places like India or China and stuff like that. It does suck a bit that they don't just randomly generate players as well as have regens/pregens though 🤷🏼‍♂️🫤

Haven’t found a single generated player with a play style+. Also every regen I’ve seen has either no play styles or only 1 if lucky. Based on 10 I’ve found.

I think playstile + only appears when the players reach a given note on certain attributes. Usually it will never happened before at least 85 ovr.

The last couple of days I have simulated through multiple seasons, with multiple clubs. I have assigned 5☆ 5☆ scouts for the Youth Academy and I have brought in so many youngsters. Just to know if players can have good PlayStyles. Turns out it's absolutely broken I have looked at dozens of players. None of them have a PlayStyle+ Does anybody have an idea why and/or how you get Youth Academy players with a PlayStyle+?

@@RingFire783 I did that. Because I saw something like that online, I just put the level on Beginner so I scored 3 goals with the striker, I simmed the rest of the match so his progression would go faster, but when he reached 80, nothing happened...

I think you just have to be lucky. I got a german RW with 80 potential who got quickstep + . Sadly I havent got another new generated player with a playstyle + in my whole carrer up to the year 2035

I tried this using mods...made a 99 OVR..gave him every playstyle possible as well ..forced him to retire and yes his Regen spawned the next season...didn't have the playstyles anymore but he had a 96 potential and was already an 80 OVR at 17 yrs old

Yes all their attributes, weak foot, height, weight, work rates... all of that can be different for the regen/pregen compared to the original player.

Loaning players out is pretty good especially for development besides that bug. Loaning out a player could possibly improve or tank their potential, nice to know it’s still somehow a thing
