Thank you for the valuable content. My question is that I am a Turkish citizen and spouse of a greek citizen. Currently, I am holding a blue card which allows me to work and live in Greece. However, there are not many job opportunities in my profession in comparison to Belgium, Germany or Netherlands which requires Eu nation or a work visa from their side. What would you suggest I should be doing ?

Depends on your objectives and structure. If you're willing to pay 20% tax then sure. If not are you able to structure around it? If so then yes. If not then there might be better options. All depends on your circumstances and goals. There's no one size fits all.

@OffshoreCitizen
@OffshoreCitizen 3 жыл бұрын
It's probably best to get a student visa for yourself and a work one for your husband. When it comes to your children learning languages - it all depends on how well you want to blend into a community. In many European countries the majority of population speaks English well (The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark...) If you're planning to stay long term, maybe it would be best to learn the language of a country you choose. Moreover, being bilingual is always a big advantage :)

Hey Michael. Where's the best place for families, with best schools for children?
@MichaelRosmer
@MichaelRosmer 3 жыл бұрын
Very good question and I think depends on a number of factors such as language. All things being equal I'm partial to several aspects of the German and Scandinavian school systems/funding models. That being said I don't think those are the best fit for everyone due to language, tax, weather, etc.

The best school is on the Internet, at least for digital nomads:)
@MichaelRosmer
@MichaelRosmer 3 жыл бұрын
@@maverick5646 yeah for some things it's amazing. A lot of people seem to require a high degree of structure to really learn though they aren't self motivated and self disciplined so as much as it adds a layer of inefficiency there seems to be merit to having structured schools where students are required to spend a certain amount of time each day.
@i1pro
@i1pro 3 жыл бұрын
@@maverick5646 home school was a disaster for primary students. I like scandinavian long term educated decisions. They for sure have great education. Sweden kept schools going because children don't get affected and very likely don't transmit the c19. Another example of their intelligent decisions. The problem is that only 8MM people speak Svenska... Not to mention the weather!!

Hello, thanks for your efforts and helpful videos. I would appreciate if you could advise me on my situation. I'm a Moroccan citizen, 37 years old, currently working in Saudi Arabia. I have a bachelor in business administration, management and leadership from the US, and I'm also a certified tennis coach. I've been in the tennis coaching industry since the last 12 years. I do speak (and write) Arabic (native) French (native-like), English (proficient) and Spanish (proficient). I have a few years of experience teaching Arabic and French during my college time in the US. I have a spouse and kids and would love to relocate to Europe. I have a one month Schengen visa valid from March 12, and I'll be visiting Spain on the 12th for a tennis competition for one week. What would be the best steps to take to reach my goal? I have been to Europe and the US since I was 12, and had more than 20 years of tourist visa to Europe but never thought of relocating... Thanks in advance.
