How do you get monetized on KZfaq, fast? This is what I've found.
Here's how I can help: radicalyt.com/
I got you a 98% discount on vidIQ: vidiq.com/nateblack/
I also share more outside KZfaq:
Instagram (behind the scenes content): / thatnateblack
Twitter/Threads (thoughts, if I have any): / thatnateblack

Here you go! two things: 1) TJ at vidIQ let me snag you a 98% discount here: vidiq.com/nateblack 2) I've opened a second group of time slots for consults and audits! You can book one here: radicalyt.com/ - this might be the last time I offer audits like this. Since it's still early testing, I've discounted prices to make it more accessible and provide me valuable feedback. If you were wanting personalized help from me, NOW is a great time to get it!

I like this approach. It's not the fix your titles or fix your thumbnails to get more clicks approach. This is truly what I have learned with KZfaq as well, it's not the gimmicks, it's actually the content that helps a channel grow and get monetized propertly.

I've learned a lot from you. We are committed to our niche (end of life healthcare) because that's our business focus. The only reason for us to monetize on KZfaq is to be able to cover the cost to improve recording quality and hire video editors. Our goal is to have people feel "helped". We've got a long way to go and I know it. But input like yours is helpful.

As a LEGO content creator, this video absolutely spoke to me 🔥 I took my existing skills in video production, made a couple niche LEGO related videos and was able to get monetised in less than 2 months!! 🎉 Currently on a monthly upload schedule for long form videos so we’ll see how it goes 😅 Also - you should absolutely drop the set 😉 Even more so if it’s a LEPIN set!

In my circle of content creator friends I've basically been screaming this "bring value" mantra from the mountain tops. So many of the videos that get released within that group are of the "here is my opinion with absolutely nothing to back it up" variety, and they always get minimal views. But, every time those same creators make videos going covering news, giving updates on what's going on in our niche, or other valuable info, those videos pop off. It's so simple, yet so many can't see it. Bring the value, and the views will come.

Great video Nate! Recently I was struck by a series of thoughts along these same lines. It occurs to me that successful channels have created a paradigm in which their content flows from. This as opposed to channels that have to create content within a conflicting paradigm. That is why I have been moving toward fostering a lifestyle that content flows from.

Another great video Nate. Each point you made is right on the money. Speaking to your audience is very different than speaking at your audience. The language point is so important because if you can't speak it clearly or in a timely manner then they will click off. Keep doing your thing and I'll see you on the next one. Thanks again!

I sometimes struggle with the "Belonging" thing I think. I am good at helping, giving people information in an easy to understand and compact form, but I feel like there must be an additional thing I am missing. Because people apprechiate the information but then leave as soon as they get it. Maybe it's the curse of an educational niche?

Another great video, Nate! I just realised something (literally minutes before I watched this); whilst I'm doing crafts & plenty of the big channels I'm subbed to do various different types of crafts, if you go back to their early days, they had a focus on one craft in particular & that's what I need to do. I was learning KZfaq, videography, storytelling, editing…while also learning multiple species of fishing, on different bodies of water…during different seasons…and weather…sonar interpretation…and tournament fishing…from a kayak…that involved learning various DIY projects to rig it…it’s been a lot but surprisingly very enjoyable chaos

Here’s your Lego channel idea, Nate: LegoInTheShadows / BackgroundLego (something like that) where you talk to other creators from all stripes (not just on KZfaq) and talk with them about their favourite kits and how Lego has helped their creative process. I feel like you’d have some fantastic questions surrounding work/life balance, tools (like Lego) for creativity, taking creative breaks, and generally just about being excited over a shared interest. I’m less interested in the kits themselves but very interested in *who* I might know / want to know and how Lego has been a part of their process. Keep up the awesome work!

Ahahaha, you nailed exactly what is going on in the LEGO niche. I started 2 years ago and I clearly don't have the skills to compete with everyone already in that niche. In the last 6 months I have been narrowing the niche to people interested in designing their own sets, which come with a specific set of problems and themes to cover. Already had one breakthrough video that reached 8k views so far and I'm working on a new one that will look at LEGO sets from that perspective. It's something nobody is doing and I have a lot of experience in.

Helpful video, Nate. A lot to think and grow on. I've been playing RPGs (also tabletop, with friends) since I was 10, and of course I've played a lot of videogames in that genre. I'm thinking about focusing only on those, so I can understand better what my audience appreciates. The first hard thing I noticed is given by the difference in the medium. When playing with friends or online, it's very easy for me to roleplay my characters. I've always been an avid reader and I can easly fit in almost every character shoes. But with videogames it's much harder, you want to get into exploring all those options the game is giving to you, and the mechanics are often distracting. I'm wondering what is a good natural equilibrium between the two things for the viewers, without becoming "fake". And by that I mean not giving people the experience I love from these games, if that makes any sense.

I'm up around 120K... I got lucky with a short or 2. Looking forward to YT improving the linking capabilities of shorts and long videos in the next few weeks.

I’ve been training clients face to face for 7 years and absolutely love it! I don’t want to change this however I started your tube in April to give clients workouts when I’m away for example. I really enjoyed making the videos and don’t find them difficult but would love to grow my channel so lots of relevant people can benefit ❤ question.. how do you get quicker at the intro when explaining the workout? If too quick someone may not understand what the workout is about whereas a good explanation ensure they clearly know what they are getting themselves into! 😅
