Very helpful video, thank you HM - just tucked my 38 under the sofa cushion. In case my TV tries to kill me. (Seriously, people appreciate these TV hanging tutorials. esp for choosing the most practical easy to install mount. The options are confusing. Also, just watched a good video about hanging heavy items on walls with off-center studs. Just screw a narrow 17"-18"" wide wood plank to the wall studs, then attach the heavy fixture to the plank, centered. Very simple strong solution. (This idea works for hanging heavy tools too. And you only drill two holes in the wall, instead of drilling multiple hanging hook holes across the wall.)

Thank you for the great content and entertainment quality. Actually this time I have a question. I am looking for a special farmhouse kitchen tile set for the backsplash / behind the oven looking like a picture / Facette / tribal / flower. But not just flat, but it has to have some depth. I found many picture-wise, that I would buy directly, but I have not happen to find a source to buy. Could you or anyone of the viewers please help with this request? I'm already searching in several countries like F, UK, USA but with no success. I added this kind of tile on my picture. Desperately looking for a source. Thx in advance. Fabian

Lees single mount monitor brackets are basically only useful if they wouldn’t stud is in the perfect location for you to mount the monitor on they don’t have a good weight bearing ability and they stick out too far from the wall giving tremendous leverage against the wall where a kid or someone who’s not paying attention could very easily pop that monitor off the wall I always like the brackets that have two contacts to the wall which are the flat mouse if you need it to move around get a good quality articulating wall mount but avoid the single contact Braket

When measuring the wall mount to the top of the TV, I like to put a level perpendicular to the TV on the top. While not perfect, it usually gets me within 1/8 inch which passes the eyeball test. I have wall mounted with this specific mount. It was ok, not my favorite. Reason being, in situations where the center of the TV is directly between 2 studs (when centering on any given wall, that TV center point can be anywhere in relation to the studs) that can mean 7 or 8 inches of side torque, and IF owner wants to move the TV out and back, it will often be uncentered when they try to return it to more flush position with the wall. Not that I have found a "perfect" mounting system yet... just know a different mount might be preferred depending on stud-to-TV center situation. Please also be VERY careful with the mounting screws that go into any TV back... if too long they can Crack the TV, ruining it completely. Finally, make sure any wires run behind a wall in order to hide them should be rated for use behind the wall. I tend to prefer installing a new outlet hidden behind the TV. It takes longer, but depending on Codes, it might be considered incorrect to have a standard TV power cord run behind the drywall. As with any of these, every install is unique... so the most important tool is your brain!
