Thank you for also placing your paints to the left of the canvas so that we can see directly what paint you’re using and how much. I’ve painted for many years but never learned how to paint people and my instructors never taught that. So very helpful and appreciated..

Wow! You are great. I love painting. I just dont know how to make it look professionally. After watching this segment. I was amazed. In the beginning the rectangle box looked weird but then...I tried it and now I can't stop drawing these little boxes to make people. Thank you for helping me get it together. I am 72 years young and now thanks to you, I can draw people...yay!

I love doing people like this for warm ups. It’s always fun to change their direction. A little lighter color on the face area and they’re walking toward you; no lighter color or a bit of hair and they’re walking away. So fun.

I used think painting people was hard, getting caught up in the details. My teacher taught me to "plant" carrots 🥕 then add a dot for the head and a line on each side for arms. Essentially painting a long upside-down triangle. But I also remember painting a lot of figure 8's for the body too. Thanks for sharing Joni. 😊

I love this!! Beautifully done I always have to sit back and admire when an artist can make things so simply and "make my brain do the work" (in a good way!) filling in details. It's a skill I'm working on. Will need to rewatch and follow along!

I love the way you explain in simple terms what you are doing! I was wondering if you had any tutorials like this one that features the older style of outer wear like from the 40's or 30's?
