and if you wore AP watch which has to be ridiculously expensive comparing to Rolex no one would ask you , but lets be honest Rolex is a master timepieces maker , although it is not that sexy watch but when it comes to time accuracy no one can beat them for example AP watch its 10+ second per day which mean a minute every week , rolex 2 second+ which means a minute every month , so you need to adjust the watch every month comparing to one week for AP

You really think the fakers just didn't spot them? :-) As Federico said: it is a feature that would likely be _un-economical_ for them to copy - i.e. it would be too intricate and difficult to calibrate, would slow down production, add too much to production costs, etc.

@@tampablackwing exactly- at this point the superfake factories should just hire a designer to make an original case and a marketer to make sure the case isn’t unmarketably ugly and then launch their own luxury brand. Platinum pvd ceramic bezel numbers and everything, just styled in an original way. it is like going to art school, you copy the masters until you get good, but one day you have to make your own masterpiece to stand on your own feet or else you’re not an artist.

I dont work on watches but a screw in device with a seal isnt a complicated system.

@@distortedfocus7698 you gotta at least lube the o ring, plenty of people screw back the o ring on a tudor ETA-movement watch after regulating it on their and shear the o ring, or get a skin flake on it that breaches the seal.

As a collector I try to keep up on the newest superclones to know what to look for as they're constantly changing, checking the finishing is a great way but with the newest ones you def (becuase they're getting so good) need to look with magnification in order to see the issues with the finish. Another good way is the color red the use for a couple gears, it's a Rolex trademark and for some reason the superclones never seem the get the shade of red right. Most of the other issues can only be seen with a side by side comparison with a real watch. One extra thing I will add is I have seen a small amount of fakes with real 3135 movements which can be had used for 3k and under. That with a real dial and most other parts from a superclone and you have a real problem on your hands.

I’ve been on several waiting lists for 4 years now. You won’t get a watch this way. I bought mine on the grey market and paid a huge premium. But this watch will remain in the family so no regrets really.

@@billbuss7542 After using the drill, wearing them again was a problem. Who knew? If you're serious about removing the back of the watch, the guys on the watch repair channels use a big, soft ball thingy and twist it. I worry if I open the back, stuff will come flying out, thus landing me in deep horological doo-doo.
