This is not the easiest way. This is beginner CFOP. It is very strange that there are so many people on KZfaq who think it is the easiest 8355 method is definitely easier. Easier to learn, easier to execute. Corners first is probably easier to use, maybe the same difficulty as beginner CFOP to learn. Beginner CFOP makes sense for someone who wants to move on to expert CFOP and try to become competitive using that method. It makes no sense for someone who just wants an easy way to solve the cube. So a more accurate title would be, “nice easy introduction to beginner CFOP method to solve Rubik's cube. “ That is a terrible title, but more accurate. There are several videos on KZfaq about 8355 and corners first methods. The twistypuzzling channel has a nice tutorial that basically teaches 8355, though he doesn’t call it that.

Oh, i never heard of those! i do know this is not actually the easiest, but the title just attracts moere people, and i still do think it is one of the best ways to start off witch cubing, because it indeed is quite easy to transfer to CFOP after mastering this method. thanks for the advice though, i will look into it!

Ijust looked into the 8355 method, and i agree that the first half of the mthod is easier, but from the point where you solve the last edges, it gets harder in my opninion, so overaal i believe these two methods are equally as easy. i do think it is a really intersting method though, so i might make a video about it someday

@@DutchCuber the video I linked uses only one 4-move algorithm for the entire solve. Some other videos complicate the last layer. It may be that I already was familiar enough with the cube when I found that method that the end game seems intuitive to me. I never need to remember headlights or other patterns, I just think, “where does this edge go?” And I put it there. Fixing the corners at the end is a bit challenging, but CFOP has the same problem. For me at least, everything is easier up to that point, and from then on they are the same. The disadvantage is that it requires too much thinking, so it isn’t a good candidate for speed cubing. Maybe someone could work out all the cases and memorize them, but I think there would be a LOT of them. I don’t really care about speed, so whatever.

@@tdbtdbthedeadbunny Ah, alright, i probably stumbled upon a worse variation of the method, but the way you describe it, i think it would be easier than my method indeed, thanks for inspiring me!
