I just watched all videos in the Data Science:Basics playlist and I just wanted to say Thank You! As someone who came from pure computer science and now has to learn basically everything about data science and statistics for robotics applications your videos helped me a lot with gaining a better intuition for all those concepts and being more comfortable with strange formulas that are trivial to professors 😂 I really like the approach of explaining formulas bottom-up as they only make sense like that and even more I like the speed and momentum of the videos. So Thank You ! I am sure this channel will blow up eventually:)

This was a very interesting video. Thanks for this. I have two questions: 1. Derivative of variance: are we assuming that the mean is population mean and changing x1 won't have an impact on the mean? 2. Logistic: We plotted the gradient against p(x) against the gradient....how do we factor in how p(x) changes with x?
