My budgie, Cookie, named like yours was and actually almost looking like him ! Mine is a blue budgie but has a yellow head. My little Cookie learned how to sing and almost talk. I talk to him every day and evening so he can learn. He learned to get into his cage by himself and im very proud of him ! Thank your for sharing these tips and videos with us ! ❤️🦜

Sorry if you don’t understand my language because Im deaf use first sign language. I was has budgies was 2 year old and his name Banan. He was born without his mother care about him anymore. I was save his life as well kind of feed and little drop water. I was look after him every day and night like as be mother. I was love him a lots make me feel better and trust. I always say hello to banan. I was back home from school then banan always excite see me then he jump and wings front me. I take him out from box then I was pat him on his head. I love him but last year he was pass away by stuck in cage chock. I was broken heart and crying everyday because he is only my best friend ever. I never forget him in my heart. I always think about him make me feel sad. I love Banan so much never stop!

Ok so I have two buggies one male and one female. They are both over 13 months old and matched. I am trying to successfully breed them but I have not seen them breed. But my main reason I am writing this comment is that neither of mh buggies are interested in the nesting box, what can I do.

I lost my budgie, Lucio, not long ago. I'm hesitant to get another because we don't have any decent breeders so it would have to be a pet store bird whose only associations with humans are negative and involve a net. 😞

I bought my budgies from a pet store too. 2 of them were very friendly and the other 2 weren't.. always running away or biting my hand no matter what. So i guess all Petstore ones need not be unfriendly.
