I thought a double stop was striking two notes together like you would a power chord? Looks like you're arpeggiating your double stops by picking one note and then the other?

WRONG ! Those are not double stops. The real name is parallel motion. Street slang: Moving 4ths, 3rds(6ths) power 5ths. Muff - John Tropea Universal Love - Lenny White are double stops. Hocus Pocus - Gary Houie
