Currently, unless they are positioned higher than you they won't knock you if you agro at them and walk backward but if they hit you from the side or you are too close they will dismount you, didn't know that grenades work like that, nice to know, and maybe will give it a try later 😁😁

Once you know where they are at it kinda easy to avoid them, the trick is to not get swarmed

Like Andre said n if you place yourself facing it when it pops up 80% they won't hit you or stun you but if they hit you from the side they will stun you.

You are on official or private server? 40k hp 700melee is super high, the only thing i can think is that you are on private server and the difficulty is increase super high case we run everything on official servers and what you see is what you can expect for console and pc

My favorite combo for this cave on Ark evolved was a Chalicotherium with a Mesopithicus on my shoulder. The Chali has the ranged boulder throw. You can take out a lot of enemies from various ledges. The Chali also has really good knockback ability. Most of the time you take out yetis or bears 1v1 without even getting hit. The monkey’s poop throw slows them down even more so you get hit even less. Also the Chali can sit down and heal to half health very quickly. Haven’t tried it on ascended yet. Haven’t been able to find a high level chalicotherium yet. But I do have my beer ready. Also they can heal with veggie cakes pretty quick too

There’s no way your playing on official. 40k hp and 700 melee and you still got your ass kicked??? Lol that’s just a skill issue. Edit definitely a skill issue. I ran this whole cave with a barry with only 11k hp and 650 melee LOL.

There always some purlovias above ground. ASA is different than ASE. I don't know if it is intended, but they dont desmount you now unless they hit you from the side. Also, someone told me about using grenades to unbury them from far away.

@@YPou97 i think part of this is that you are on a barry and they are jumping and hitting the barry before dismounting you... if you were on a smaller dino or one that didnt block you then you may have been dismounted.... but with the cave being so much easier the barrys are great in there

I don’t now we had one prolovia dismount 3 of us at the same time on Barys it was crazy I mean we tried trigger it but it lunged straight at us and got us. More than once too!

@@kaloeaa even with eating the rare flowers the bary's dismounted you?

not when is on the inventory is when they kill fish they get a big amount of health back so by killing 5 or 6 fish you could fully health in most cases
