I miss my skating rink!!!.... (I was too young for the clubs, but we TOTALLY rocked it at the skating rink... shuffle packs and break dancing... (late 80’s... I was only 12, but Sooo much fun!)

I saw Egyptian Lover at a club right outside of New Orleans called The Palladium on I-10 Service Rd & N. Causeway Blvd. Crazy that Snowfall is bringing people back to this song. This dude & crew put on a helluva live show! I think I may have had my first panic attack at this show. A lot of the crowd was rollin🙅‍♂️ -They started pushing towards the stage. This had to be in 90 or 91. I saw a lot of these dance 'New Wave'?! bands because they came to The Palladium then to the teen club I co-managed called 'Twilight Zone' right down the street. But E.Lover only wanted to do the 1 club that night. Great song. Great memories 😎 #PlanetRock

That's what I love about media it helps introduce people who couldnt be around to hear music when it came out. My music tastes were defined by the 3-D era GTA games which is where I first heard this song. Second I heard it on snowfall I recognized it immediately. Something about a OG high on sherm tripping out to this song just feels right tho

We use to go to cha cha queen niteclubs they would have dance offs l wore big diamond brooches elf shoes from Melrose huge shoulder pads plenty of make foundation evryone wore heavy foundatio cover up since l was gorgeous l wore blush on top of it 💋
