Full game main story longplay of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, the third main game in The Elder Scrolls series. Released in 2002 for the PC in May, and then on OG Xbox in June same year. This here is the PC version being played on OpenMW, an open source port of the Creation engine powering the original game, version 0.48.0 (the latest). Here played at 3840x2160 resolution, highest possible details/settings, except for View Distance at sort of 6-7 setting out of 10. Recorded at 4K60 H.265 HEVC. Used "Morrowind Enhanced Textures", a pack of 100% Vanilla AI Enhanced textures.

This here is a Main Quest walkthrough, meaning no Side Quests done, just every single quest needed to learn and to finish the game's main story. This time without on-screen figuring out how to level up, I just thought "I'm gonna spawn me some gold, bruh, and then use it on trainers to level up", and yep, it was an excellent choice. It went really well, difficulty wise, not many problems, all very smooth, no getting lost too much, straight to the point, MUCH improvement compared to my last Morrowind longplay (that I perhaps will be delisting some day after this comes out?)
Oh, and I OVERDID THE SATURATION ON THIS VIDEO, SO THE HUD KIND OF LOOKS VERY ORANGE-YELLOW-ISH, I DEFINITELY PUT TOO MUCH SATURATION, SORRY. Hopefully the brightness/gamma is at least alright. About the last area in this video, behind the Ghostgate. Idk if it's OpenMW crapping out, or something I did, but yes, IT'S EXTREMELY MESSED UP, and that's a shame, the ending with the ash storms had a delightful atmosphere which is gone here. Ehhh, can't have everything in one take, I guess?

Game's summary:
The main story takes place on Vvardenfell, an island in the Dunmer (Dark Elf) province of Morrowind, part of the continent of Tamriel. The central quests concern the demigod Dagoth Ur, housed within the volcanic Red Mountain, who seeks to gain power and break Morrowind free from Imperial reign.
Though primarily a fantasy game, with many gameplay elements and Western medieval and fantasy fiction tropes inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and previous role-playing games, Morrowind also features some steampunk elements, and drew much inspiration from Middle Eastern and East Asian cultures. Morrowind was designed with an open-ended, freeform style of gameplay in mind, with less of an emphasis on the main plot than its predecessors.

One Morrowind, One Todd Howard, One Longplay to rule them all. This is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, THE longplay of the whole main quest, and hopefuly the only one you and I will ever need from this point on. Forgive the oversaturation, the UI in-game looks a bit too yellow-orange, but all the rest looks nice and fancy. Played on newest OpenMW update. That whole Ghostgate area is mighty messed up weather/skybox wise, it has to be OpenMW's fault, no idea what's going. But, it's 25/12, have a Merry Christmas folks! Much happiness, many good longplays, all the great games you'd wish to play, those are my wishes to You! I sure was hoping that people will see that "OUTDATED" thing, cause I sure hope for this longplay to be somewhat successful. The old one was pretty badly done, with weird/stupid things not edited out. Plus, youtube copyrighted that whole video and put it's own ads on it, so you'd get ads, but I'd get 0 cents for it, ZERO. So, now it's better edited, better played, better resolution/textures, and I actually will get something for it maybe. (though still it's limited, copyrights ehhh) :D

Yup, one of the very first games to use Pixel Shaders, a new thing back then, to enhance the water, both on PC and Xbox. Funny thing, barely anyone had a GPU with Pixel Shaders when Morrowind came out, Xbox owners though were in luck. :))

Oh yes, my friend! Oblivion is pretty much done on my channel, I've done just about everything, maybe except for Shivering Isle's all side quests. They modeled the character's face textures with real faces. It was actually really advanced for it's time in 2002 and definitely the biggest game of that generation. Morrowind was the game that saved Bethesda from going under after the failures of Redguard.

That's one way to do it, another is to sell Fargoth's ring at the very beginning in Seyda Neen, or just steal the golden plate in the government census agent's room (the one who chooses your class for you) when you start the game, if you steal it and throw it away from your inventory immediately, the guard will just slap you on your wrist and let you go, but the plate you will be able to pick up from the ground again, no consequences, free 650 gold worth item. xD

That's actually a great way to make money in Morrowind. Take everything you possibly can carry from containers and the go to a general merchant and sell everything. Also the best way to get rich in Morrowind is to go to mournhold, kill ordinators, take their armor (the most expensive in the game) go into a building, rest and quick save, then go outside, kill the same ordinators, repeat, eventually you will be able to pay for your crimes and there's a glitch if you're naughty enough where they will attack you even when you don't have a bounty, then it's self defense and you can kill them without getting a fine, then you take their armor some more. Go to the Bazaar in Mournhold, go right and into the merchant, he has more gold to barter with than any other merchant, sell the armor in your inventory, wait 24hrs and his money will be replenished, go outside kill more ordinators, repeat all this as much as you want, you'll rack up 100,000 gold 200,000 gold, it's up to you. (Then buy his exquisite replenish health potions, when he runs out wait 24hrs and he will have replenished inventory, then you'll be rich and invincible)

It's a shame a lot of indoor/cave areas are always so dark in Morrowind (like 41:40). I always had to mess with my monitor's contrast & brightness to see better, but that's harder to get right on a smartphone ☹️

The answer is - for the sake of the longplay lasting less than 80 hours (12 hours is youtube's limit for me), I magically "came into" a lot of money, and fast, and spent it all on a trainer. :D

Once you get past the early levels it gets really fun. You just got to have patience and take it slow in the beginning, working on improving your skills.
