well if you do the potions correctly you shouldn't overflow as that breaks the game i think but what you do is you stack fortify intelligence which affects your alchemy skill which makes you make better potions so if you continually make them you end up with a ludicrous intelligence stat thats lasts 1000 years which then allows you to set your skills to a few thousand each at which point you have a similar situation to the speed run

@@stevenvroom1041 You can do the same in Skyrim with the enchanting/alchemy loop. It's a feature. This IS bethesda, after all.

No, he was attempting to bind the Quick Item to numpad 7, accidentally clicked it twice and when he did he mistakenly bound Mouse 0 to it instead, then correctly bound numpad 7 immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, morrowind isn't smart enough to rebind Mouse 0 at that point, and just left it not bound to anything

@@user-783hhss7w2oifhe It usually only plays a very small part in a lot of the dice rolls in this game, which would normally be much more reliant on another stat. Because of this though, if luck is ridiculously high it will make a big difference in your chances, even if the "more important" stat is too low

You shouldn't, the game is huge and easy to lose yourself in. After ten years I literally just got around to actually finishing the main quest about an hour ago, always got distracted with other things and then ended up rolling a new character idea before ever bothering to do it before.

When I played it as a kid I just went around and stole every valuable item (and the ones that were hard to steal) and would not do any quests at all. At the end I had an epic fight against Vivect where I leveled my Fistfighting from 0 to 99 or so :D Just that sense of freedom is enough to keep you going in this game. The quests are just a bonus ;)

I remember as a kid i found out a quest bug you save some dude's daughter i think and he give you 8000 gold but you have two separate phrase one to ask for the reward one to end the quest.... and you can ask the reward infinitely, i never ended the quest and used the infinite money to try and make stupid shit like a giant fire ball that would one shot a city ... and crash the game xD

MrTacco I think it's so they could quickly get the glove thing you need to wield Sunder and Keening, the other tools used to break the Heart of Lorkahn, or in other words, beat the game. I might have the names wrong, it's been a small while since I've beaten it

Morrowind is incredibly immersive and enjoyable, I recommend it. The spell creating system alone is worth it.

I loved Morrowind more than Skyrim and Oblivion. But... I played it first, back when it was new. I'd be genuinely interested to know what someone who played Skyrim before Morrowind makes of the older game. There's no denying that Morrowind is really dated now. I guess it depends what you want to get out of the game.

I had a lot of fun when I played it back when it came out, if you want to play it I recommend getting the addons as well though, they're pretty damn good. The balancing is "meh" from what I remember, even when cheating your magicka to a bazillion points it still feels weak compared to just hitting/shooting stuff. There's probably a ton of mods out to address such issues though, just like the newer TES games Morrowind had a nice user-friendly editor after all. While I played it without mods it was still an amazing experience, the atmosphere in that game is incredible so even with Oblivion (which I loved) and Skyrim out it should still be a great experience.
