oblivion was always how I'd escape my fears and my depression, the stress, the anxiety, idk how it did it but I'd sit for hours and hours trapped in that world happy, it was all I had and all I knew, first time I've ever experienced true happiness was playing, watching, and most of all hearing this game

Its funny how the music from games is the thing that really stays with you more than anything, graphics and gameplay both get warped (or gilded) by your memory to certain degree, but music stays true and immutable.

I love this Arrangement! Every morning I drive to school by bus through the forests and over the Mountain ridges of my home I‘m listening to this! It‘s the most beautiful cover of the most beautiful Soundtrack ever! I only miss Dusk at the market and Auriels Ascension.

I can hear the muffled clanking of the guards boots in the distance as they patrol the night time roads. I can hear the fire crackling off my torch. the tide washing into the shoreline.

I was about 13 minutes in and started reading your description. Sir, you are not only phenomenal at piano, but your words are poetic in their own right. You actually brought a tear to eye as I read while listening. I'm sort of a jerk when it comes to liking videos, I've only liked about 100 over many many years, so take pride I liked this video. You deserve it for the rare time a description is as powerful as what the video is portraying.

@@TheSlowPianist I watched/loved the whole thing 😅 I'm currently trying to learn watchmans ease thanks to you, and my goodness it's beautiful to play. Thank you so much for the inspiration, I struggle with my left hand synchronization as I'm still new at piano, but I can already feel improvement since it's the slowest song I've tried to learn (only an hour into the song practice too, can't wait to see what mastering it will do). You're awesome my guy, again thank you!! Inspiration is a wonderful thing

Upon hearing your wonderful playing, I immediately ‘liked’ this video. But it was the description that made me subscribe. You perfectly captured how the game and its brilliant soundtrack make me feel. I know so many people feel the same way about Oblivion, but I’ve never heard those feelings expressed in a way that mirrored my own so precisely. Minstrel's Lament was absolutely phenomenal, I never thought that one day we'll be blessed by any other and BETTER variation than Wind guide you. You actually improved it to unimaginable level, especially the starting part, it opens and triggers more memories and feelings.

Aaaah how nostalgic! Minstrel's lament was one of my favorites. I remember the very first time I played Oblivion, that feeling, being so captivated and completely immersed into the world and the sounstrack. you've conveyed that feeling so well. Bravo!

Still to this day Oblivion remains one of my favourite RPG's i have played. The feelings i had got playing this game in my younger years were unreal, everything felt so enchanting, the luscious nature in the game, exploring the docks near imperial city, all of the different creatures you could summon to fight for you and of course listening to the lovely music wrote by jeremy soule. Hearing this lovely performance brings back so many memories, thankyou for this:)

Awesome upload. Thats why KZfaq rocks. Oblivion's score is magnificent. The best of the serie, imo. And this piano cover makes it so easy to hear why. The melodies are full, round, simple, elegant and they blend together perfectly. No need for a medieval choir to crank it. A single talented pianist is enough to render its beauty in the nicest way. I've loved this soundtrack for so long, in a lot of ways more than Skyrim's (although that is great too). Something about Oblivion's soundtrack and more painterly and colourful environments make just wandering a more pleasant experience in my opinion in comparison to Skyrim. My favourite song is Watchman's Ease, which you play incredibly well. I have tried to learn that piece myself, but it is quite difficult.

Oh boy your expression was fantastic. And the slow tempo tracks are at slow tempo played... so rare nowadays!! I tried to arrange this soundtrack many times but as second year conservatory student is so far beyond my possibily, melodic rithmics and expression is ok but i can not make it so rich.... lack of chord knowledge and aural refinement im afraid or maybe just make it sound nice xDDD. So praise you! If you ever share your arrengement sheets... i would be so grateful.
