In this chapter, Elen carries out a couple small assignments for The Mages' Guild at Sulipund and Punabi, then returns to Balmora in order to get her rewards and promotions both from the aforementioned Guild and the Fighters' Guild, as well as House Hlaalu. More importantly, she is directed by Caius Cosades to find yet another informant, this time, a very specific poetry lover over at Ald'ruhn, who informs our protagonist that the real clues are to be found far away in the North, in a remote Ashlander camp practicing the "Nerevarine Cult".
