Why are many of the element names in this periodic table different from what’s commonly used? Is this a more archaic nomenclature?

The names in this international periodic table are such that the element names correspond to the element letter and all elements end with "ium", with no exceptions.

Remember Atomic number is number of protons in nucleus.
