‘Elvis was wide open’…Yes…and he keeps inviting us in…💎❤️

Larry wrote wonderful books about Elvis, he was certainly one of Elvis very faithful friends.

Some people give Larry a lot of grief, but if he happens to read these comments, I would like to thank him, for being one person that could talk to Elvis on the deepest levels of thought and spirituality, and that had to be a huge comfort for Elvis to have that connection to someone.

Great interview Steve I have listened to a lot of interviews with Larry and he always came across as a very sincere and genuine guy . I can see why Elvis took a liking to him and could have endless spiritual conversations with him to try and understand why he was Elvis Presley , looking forward to the next interview Steve .

I like Larry, he and Elvis had a great spiritual connection, Larry was a great friend to Elvis and was the last person to say goodbye to Elvis, the last man to touch him at his service, he touched his Forehead before his coffin closed. I understand the need Elvis had, he was Awakening to his souls purpose . I’m glad Larry appeared during this time for Elvis . They helped each other in ways that only spiritual awakened individuals understand⚡️🙏❤️. Thanks for sharing .

I do feel Larry is a good man, and truly cared for the well being of Elvis. To Elvis Larry must have seemed like a kindred spirit, especially compared to the rest of that gang. It's hard to comprehend at this point in time to who really cared about Elvis and who didn't. The one thing that bothers me the most is the book burning incident. However, I'm sure Elvis replaced all he had to burn.

Unless someone is putting Elvis down I appreciate hearing from anyone from his world and time. Thank you, Vicki

I read that Elvis other guys weren’t to keen on Larry Geller, also the colonel wasn’t to happy about the influence Larry had on Elvis. He seems a really nice guy. I think Elvis just needed some one to understand where he was coming from. I can’t wait for the second part of the interview. Thanks Steve.

Wow, Steve, what a coup you got here, Larry has a voice that just makes you sit up and listen. Larry truely was a kindred soul, he was the lost key that allowed Elvis to unlock his mind, no one around him had taken the time or even wanted to explore that side of him before. The guys around Elvis were never and could never have understood Elvis,s needs and yearnings to open himself up mind body and soul, with Larry it sounds like he could do just that. They both clearly enriched each others lives, feeding off each other, often being ridiculed and scorned for their closeness and deep spiritual, religious and interlectual yearnings. An inquisitive mind should never be starved, Elvis truely was a complexity of multi faceted brilliance, and it went way beyond his artistic prowess, it was the essence of his very being, Larry connected with that complexity immediately, and evoked a deep and meaningful reaction within Elvis,s inner psyche. I cannot wait for part two Steve. Thanks.

Such an engaging interview with Larry Geller, Steve. I could listen to Larry all day talking about Elvis. Yes, in the 1960s exploring other religions outside of Christianity was frowned upon, but it just shows what a caring, lovable, enquiring mind that Elvis had in exploring other spiritual avenues. That was absolutely fantastic!!!! I enjoyed every minute!!! He’s such an eloquent speaker. I love how he describes Elvis. I truly believe Elvis was so complex, Larry brought out the searcher, the interested, the learned student. It’s a facet of Elvis and one that’s beautiful!!! I met Larry in 2009 and bought his book. He was fascinating to talk too. Real nice guy in person :) Looking forward to part 2 xxx

Larry Geller knows that Elvis wanted a print of Star Wars so he could watch it with his daughter, Lisa Marie. Three days before that, he had taken her, and his girlfriend Ginger Alden to see the then latest James Bond movie, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. is this true ? did Elvis knew about the filmmakers George Lucas , Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola ?

Great that you finally got Larry Geller on the phone. He was probably one of the few people in Elvis' life who gave him the feeling to be understood in order for him to be able to open up. And without being ridiculed. He needed that so desperately at that point in his life, an outlet for things that were torturing him, finding answers. Another such person I believe was Ann Margret. Not sure If they were still together ... probably not ... I wish she would tell us little bit more ...😊

Oh one more thing lol, I did get Larry's book the leaves one got it a few days back, once I've read Elvis destined to die, enjoying that book as well, all because of you Steve, sometimes I just can't thank you enough, I'll have to buy ya some more coffees eh love Chris xxxxx

Enjoyed this video. I met many of the guys that were around Elvis in the last 25-30 years. Unfortunately, many of them are no longer with us. Larry Geller was one of the guys I did meet durning Elvis week in Memphis 1997. I have to tell you, my friend and I , could talk with him for hours and hours. He is a very calm, spiritual and caring individual. Thankfully, we took several photos with him. He was and still is an amazing gentleman.👍⚡️⚡️⚡️

I'm going to enjoy listening to this when I have half hour free. Larry is my fave person connected to Elvis he was outside of the Memphis Mafia circle and many within have done him down over the years because he wasn't part of their group and because they had no interest in anything spiritual. Elvis learnt many things about himself and things spiritual from Larry. He shared things with Larry that he didn't share with anyone else and Larrys books are absolute must reads. If you don't read his books then you only know half the story. Even the Colonel wanted rid because he thought Elvis was getting ideas above his station.

Hi Steve, what a fantastic interview that was! You are great getting an interview with Larry! I didn’t know that he had written all those books. I really didn’t know that much about Elvis and Larry’s relationship. What I want to say after listening to this interview is, one I can’t wait to hear the next part and two, I think Larry really loved Elvis as a friend! The way that he told his story is so interesting and so respectful that you can really tell that Larry was a good friend to Elvis. After hearing so many stories about the people who surrounded Elvis on a daily basis, it sounds like Larry was about the most honest friend that Elvis had. I look forward to hearing the part two of the interview. Also if Larry does read these remarks, there are so many things I would love to ask him about. Since that would never happen for me, I would so much like to say to Larry “Thank you for showing Elvis that you truly cared about him as a real person and that you showed him the love as a friend” Thank you Steve and Larry for such a warm interview and I look forward to hearing more!!

A great interview, Iv heard Larry in a few interviews although he was good for Elvis on his spiritual path..I don’t think he help him, he made him think to deeply and I don’t think Elvis needed that in his life,Elvis was so complex and he had a lot going on in his life I think maybe Larry made him think to deeply, just my opinion but Larry was a good person and you can tell he had great respect for Elvis 🙏🏻

Great to see Larry finally agreed to be interviewed! Somehow I think Elvis would not refer to or label his friend as his Spiritual Advisor. I'd like to ask Larry if they discussed the same themes throughout the 70s because Priscilla in her book said they both burned all the books in a bonfire before turning over a new leaf in their 67 marriage.

I watched an interview with this guy and described how he made sure he was the last person to touch Elvis before they closed the Casket. It turned my stomach and put me off him for life!

Did you ever tell Elvis or did he ever remember the day you shook hands with him when you were a young teenager?

Steve why do you think the energy from suspicious minds and poke salad annie faded from maybe 73/74 onwards and the movement wasn't the same, was it a conscious thing or illness maybe I've always wondered and the question never really gets asked when people get interviewed, or maybe we seen less film of the concerts in those last few years with clips now appearing on youtube, love to here your thoughts

I dont know what to believe I was told by Charlie Hodge and a couple others Larry was just after what Elvis would give him. I.E. a new car jewelry ect... so I am not sure about his stories....trying to stay in the middle. If he says next week him and the Colonel were great friends and got along great then I know he isnt truthful. The Colonel didnt like him or trust him.
