I've never gotten emotional just watching a trailer, but that music, and everything in it, made me feel, pain, loss, and power! I'm hoping Wakanda Forever truly means what it is supposed to mean, rather than being a way to say goodbye to the greatest country in the Marvel's Universe!

Then why not recast the role!? Finish telling the story of tchalla. Why kill off an iconic character that people wear a fan of before the mcu was even thought of? Why kill off one of the most important characters jack kirby and Stan lee ever made. A strong powerful black man, king of his country. Not a slave, not a gangster, not a drug dealer a freaking king. Now we lost Chadwick God Bless his soul and Tchalla too. This character was important to the black community. Now that character is gone from the mcu, thats the worst decision Kevin feige has ever made. I never met Chadwick, I just know what I seen on tv. If he was the man and performer everyone saids he was, I doubt highly he would be happy with there decision. It would have been more respectful to just recast the role. I can’t and won’t watch this movie.

@@tiana7609 how would that disrespect his legacy? Disrespecting his legacy is taking away a character that he work hard to portray and bring to the big screen. His legacy is set in stone and can’t be undone. You finish the race, you finish that person’s job for them when they are no longer able too that is showing respect. Not recasting is disrespecting him and Stan lee and jack Kirby. The black panther franchise in the mcu is done. No tchalla there is no point to it.

And to me, recasting him is like weird, it's weird. I mean I can see your reason as to why you want him to be recasted but idk man I can't see someone else playing Tchalla/Black Panther without seeing Chadwick Boseman face, it's gonna feel weird and it's going to look weird, just weird in general. You know if they did do it, recast Tchalla, people would make comparisons, saying "your not Chadwick Boseman." And whatnot. I probably didn't give the right answer but I'm pretty sure Marvel had posted somewhere as to why they wouldn't recast Black Panther/Tchalla. I just have to look for it. But can you really look at someone else playing Black Panther and not think about Chadwick Boseman? I don't know who to put it into words but hopefully you understand. 👍🏿

@@tiana7609 Chadwick is not the only one who can play tchalla. Seeing someone else play the character would not be wired. If that’s the case why do we have so many James Bonds and batmans? This character is for the black community and was invited during a time where black people were treated like dirt. This character was made to inspire. Chadwick did not own the character but he work hard to portray the character on the big screen. I never met the man but I believe he knew what the character of tchalla means to people. That’s why he pray 🙏🏿 that he would get the role. I really don’t believe he would be happy that the character was laid to rest with him. It defeats the purpose of why the character was even made. In America & certainly in Hollywood, Letitia Wright has yet to do anything to the severity of needing her removal from the film. That being said, Shuri canonically inherits the Black Panther mantle from T’Challa. To give it to anyone but her, as expected, would not be a welcome change by most comic fans. Cancel culture should not prevail here. Also, I’d love Nakia to have a suit of her own but hey, that’s just me!

That wasn't a man in the suit. The body was too small. It's a woman. It's Shuri. We're not going to see much Panther in this film. This movie is about Wakanda. I'm still very, very disappointed that they got rid of T'Challa.

I am with you there, Onamaly. Plus the colour coding was black and gold which is a signature for Killmonger's suit. The trailer was made to be misleading similar to what they did in Spiderman no way home. I believe it would be a great opportunity to have Michael B Jordan play the interim Black Panther with him protecting Wakanda and saying goodbye to T'Challa like every other character will be doing in the movie.

Also by the Queens saying that she has lost her entire family... possibly bringing back Killmonger...

In the comics - his sister became BP for a short period. .. Would be dope if it is MBJ though - he is a very good actor - plus he's family so it could make sense.

And yeah after all, Kilmonger said to “bury him in the sea with his ancestors”, which that could explain his body being healed by Namor’s people from the wound and he had taken the heart shaped herb already too.

The semi-easter egg is she says “entire” family and “everything” in which could mean they have all died or she believes they are dead because they family faked it. My theory is with the later. Because it would also make the enemy believe they are as well in which could lead to a surprise attack from them Also, I really don’t think the ultimate enemy is Namor but rather a mutant and/or someone from X-Men due to multiple scene in the trailer. Namor might be the “enemy” but only until he realizes the ultimate enemy was the one playing both sides against each other with lies.

@@captureinsidethesound I honestly think because of when this movie was supposed to come out, it might have occurred during the blip with Thanos. If you remember, Black Widow asked Okoye about the earthquake in the ocean. So it might be the queen is referring to all Wakanda lost because the battle was in Africa and they lost warriors and her children.

@@ImJustaWill , I remember the hologram scene and knew that her line about the earthquake had to be a hook for another film because it was too random not to be. Im guessing this film takes place before and in-between Infinity Wars and continues after Endgame. Its hard to keep up with the time-line lol

i said same awhile ago when there was debate to recast t'challa or not.... my theory was that they put killmonger on ice like Bucky,,, and now bring him back,,,, and he sort of reborn ,,respecting t'challa for saving him and now wanting to protect Wakanda becoming BP... but we'll see
