You know, it's amazing what the language can actually do for the film. It feels 5,000 times better and more authentic than any other Roman film I've ever seen, even though the Latin isn't 100% on point for the time. Much better than watching a bunch of English people talk in their English accents.

considering this was a low budget student film, it was very well done. and while the latin wasn't perfect, it was better than alot of other media out there.

TO ME LATIN IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE. I wish all movies about ancient Rome would be in Latin.

This raises the bar when it comes to authenticity. Most productions portray Romans as speaking with thick English accents. Marvelous.

Amazing effort, this is really well done considering it's student. I love hearing the Latin spoken and it makes me wish it was a more alive language than it is today.

The General's pronounciation and patterns come as close to the real thing as possible, very nice seeing such a natural speech flow in Latin.
