Because she grew up in a royal family witnessing abuse from an early age. The emperor's actions doesn't constitute one percent compared to the cruelty she witnessed in her life. Also emperor's undying love and loyalty towards her dead sister kind of absolved his all crazy actions in her heart. Because ancient women strongly believed in theory that it's easy to find a priceless treasure than finding a man with a loyal heart, therefore she idolized him and hopes that one day he loves her the same way as her sister.

I can understand her as a person who is only hungry for lill love but always gets mistreated by others when that person changes and shows little love to us we forget everything bad thing they did in the past. That's how I am so i understand where she comes from.

@@kapilshastrywitnessing cruelty and being the recipient of it are two very different things. The emperor’s “undying love” for her twin sister in no way excuses his abhorrent behavior towards her. If he loved her dead sister, at least he could have just treated tilan with distant respect. Instead, he chose to violently rape her, over and over, feed her drugs to prevent pregnancy which made her very sick (and almost unable to ever have children), and was verbally and physically abusive-just because she looks like his dead wife. She may love him, but he should have had to work WAY harder to earn any trust or respect from her. I don’t think it is easy to “forget” the kind of abuse he put her through.
