其實皇后一開始是吃醋皇上對香見的瘋迷，甚至忌妒討厭香見，但在她勸香見活下來時，過往的忌妒討厭感覺煙消雲散了，她感覺到其實現在她們兩個其實是（同病相憐）的，香見訴說自己和寒企的過去，讓如懿也想起自己和弘曆的過去，所以如懿明白香見的心痛，而香見也明白如懿口中的少年郎就是迷戀自己的皇上，但如懿還可以看到自己的少年郎，但香見永遠看不見了，所以現在如懿心裡不在忌妒香見，而是向當初她心疼舒妃一樣心疼她，而香見也明白如懿現在心裡的痛一定不亞於自己，所以後面她們才會如此交好，在皇上瘋魔到建寶月樓接香見族人來時，大家都覺得皇上瘋魔愛香見，所以她們更忌妒香見，但如懿的不開心一方面是覺得皇上失了自己身分，一方面覺得皇上這樣做更是變相逼迫香見，所以她才會跟皇上說：其實香見真的很可憐 就如如懿往生時，喪禮上大家都覺得皇后該想福了，為什麼就離開，好可惜 只有香見說了：有什麼可惜，皇后終於和她少年郎在一起了 所以在感情方面，她們是真的很互相瞭解 也知道對方在這後宮。越來越不快樂 後面應該也只有香見明白其實如懿早死心了，與其永遠和她一樣困在皇宮，如懿的離開其實是解脫

It's just that Ruyi's royal love in the palace is a much emotional and heartbreaking series compared to Yangxi's palace which is bit on the lighter side and has many funny or interesting moments. There's a spoiler below 🚨🚧⚠️ . . . . Yangxi's palace even has a happy ending.

The Fragrant Concubine is fictional, but is based on the historical Consort Rong. Her story is portrayed quite accurately here, except more dramatically. Qianlong Emperor definitely doted on her and gave her special treatment, but it was probably more of a political thing than this weird obsession. The Emperor built special facilities for her and she lived a nice life.

Acho que pra Ruyi ter ficado seus ultimos dias isolada, longe de todos. Foi o melhor para ela. Finalmente um pouco de paz, ela era hostilizada, e sofria tortura psicológica diariamente na mão desse homem. Então quando não pode vê sua cara, ela estava mais em paz do que nunca esteve em toda sua vida, ela não fez questão alguma de voltar a vê-lo. Eu acho que é aquela situação onde a mulher esteve tão machucada que não suporta está perto da pessoa mais. Quando disseram que ela não viveria muito, ela apenas sorriu, ela apenas estava aliviada de não ter que voltar para ele novamente nunca mais. O mais irônico e que no início do drama Ruyi nem estava tão apaixonada assim por ele, ela nem o via como homem, nem fez questão de ser escolhida por ele, ela apenas confiou no seu amor de velhos amigos para entrar nisso, confiando que ele realmente dizia a verdade quando ele estava tentando convence-la de que ele a faria feliz . Ela apenas se deixou seduzir, para no fim acabar assim.

What he had for consort Rong could be labelled as more of a lustful desire rather than love.. i guess temporary attractions are normal at any age but in olden times it was probably viewed as 'love' 🧐
