Rahul Dravid is a once-in-a-generation cricketer. His contributions to Indian cricket were as crucial as Sachin Tendulkar's. IN Test cricket, his impact was more significant than Sachin Tendulkar's. Dravid scored more runs in Test cricket than Sachin since his debut in 1996 until he retired in 2012. Though Sachin Tendulkar made his debut in 1989, when both finished their careers, Rahul Dravid's statistics in Test cricket were close to Sachin's. IN Test cricket Even Kohli and Rohit won't be able to break Dravid's and Sachin's record.. 13288 runs in test ...almost 11 thousands runs in ODI is enough to show how great he was as a cricketer.

Great episode, an emotional one, proving that you guys are pure cricket fans, appreciate anything good, wherever it comes from. Not to speak of the very good understanding of the game for laymen. I am a crazy cricket fan too. Sad that whatever appreciation Kohli has received in his carrier is mostly from outside India. Gavaskar is an extremely parochial person detests anything remotely North Indian, has been doing it for a good 40 years. Anyway, very good podcast, as always.

Gosht(non veg) food ko leke only Pakistan's ex cricketers and Frontline media majaak udaate hai.... Non veg has nothing to do with cricketing skills. Even vegetarians can be physically strong.. Most of our wrestlers who are winning medals in Olympics are vegetarians. The whole family of neeraj chopra has been vegetarians since ages....but still hes ruling the game where strength is needed the most.....javelin throw. We had many cricketers who are vegetarians and are legends in world cricket.

Won't say Era. Even though we won 2024 t20 WC, the mistakes made in 2021, 2022 are unforgiveable . We won it coz we deserved it. Day 1 se pata h we would've won without VK and RS in the side as well, Even Pant wasn't needed. He was not fit properly. You know it , I know it. We have better players sitting outside for T20. That's why these guys retired , BCCI gave them an ultimatum post 2022 WC , somehow someone big interfered and got RS and VK back in the side. It's Inside info.

Dravid is the best Test batsman India has ever produced even better than sachin in many context. The kind of impossible matches he won for India are unforgettable, whether it was against Australia in Kolkata, India in Australia, India in England, or against the fiery West Indies in the West Indies. I don't think India can ever produce another Dravid again. He was the best, and he's still the best.
