Fascinating connection to the (still) popular cowboy culture during the formative years of mass entertainment in the ol' US of A. Painting, then print, radio, film, and TV.

I'm so embarrassed for myself because it never occurred to me what a cowboy does! Then again, this isn't exactly something I needed to know, but it was funny to finally have the 💡 moment. I just associated them with barfights and quick draws, lol.

I am Rose Dillon Two Hawk from Pierre SD. and I have acquired a large 43 x 33 print of Frederic Remington’s Fall of the Last Cowboy, I am amazed of this print that I have known nothing about and feel blessed to have this. I am just so ever curious about this print, if it is authentic, do I need to protect it by all means necessary and what is worth of the very large print?

With most prints, the real value is in being able to enjoy the image.

@@smarthistory-art-history and I understand that, I truly love Western prints, I looked some of this up, Mr. Remington has a lot of absolutely amazing prints out there. I am just asking and wanting to know about this print I came upon?

That's not work that we do. If you think your print is a rarity with historical value, you could hire an appraiser or perhaps try to show it to a curator at a local museum for their thoughts.

I had expected the video to be about the death of the western film genre.
