Thank you for 2 million subscribers. As much as I would've liked this video to be as positive as the others, everything from 4:37 onwards needed to be said. I wanted to be honest rather than spend another month trying to squeeze out a whole 10 minutes of forced content that I didn't enjoy making. Most of my older videos took a couple weeks to a month to finish, but with the state of CS:GO surf and being recognized and followed everywhere I go, it ended up taking months just to scrape together 4 minutes of actual content. The work to reward ratio isn't worth it anymore, and if my only option is making generic matchmaking videos then I'd rather just leave CS:GO behind for now. You'll probably see me play other games like Rust and R6 a lot more, get back into streaming on Twitch, and maybe even do some more old-school commentary videos. I don't know what the future will hold, but hopefully you stick around for the next era of this fucked up channel. Thank you for being here, I appreciate you all more than you know.

I love racc so much, no homo. He always makes me laugh and though he probably won't see this in the flood of comments. I understand why he won't do CS:GO anymore, he wants to be able to just be a person amongst other people and make them laugh. And as time progresses although it is sad, the more popular you get, the more people recognize you and the harder it is to not be known. I'm sad to see it leave, but happy to see racc making a decision to not do it anymore.

I watch this again 8 moths later and it still makes me tear up knowing that old rac is gone but its not out of a place of anger or wanting more content just sadness knowing that this is gone but also joy knowing that he will move on to new and better things that make him happy

i hope all has been well in the past year. you were always pretty good at making me laugh, so sometimes i look back at videos (specifically how to raise a raccoon). i guess early in the year i was going through a rough patch and just needed to cheer up. so i rewatched most of your vids and got to take a breather for a minute. things are ok with me now, and i respect your decision to stop making vids. anyone who doesnt isn't a real fan and only has their personal interests in mind, not yours. they're also named chesmond and that bitch can get a raccoon to the face. some people forget that youtubers and entertainers are human too. guess i just want to say thankyou for the videos, and that i hope you find happiness in life.

I come back to this video, time and time again to reminisce about the good old days. I was never here for the gameplay, never here for the internet persona of raccooneggs, I was here for your relationships with others, your jokes coming out of nowhere and surprising me, and for the friends you made along the way. Every interaction, every story, every single damn comment or friendly gesture or joke? That was you, and it made me feel whole. I thought that if I watched your videos, if I could understand the message you were making, I could try and salvage what I was and become a better version of myself due to this. But in all honesty, during when this video came out, I was going through the shit. Lost my girlfriend, got accused of sexual assaulting a minor, my parents never trusting me and threatening to throw me out, and I needed an escape. These videos were my escape, and honestly I wished I had CSGO, or a PC at the time so I could try and interact with you, knowing I could possibly get a friend that I so desperately needed. Though I’m here years after the video was made, and was lucky enough to still witness more creators coming out with these ideas like McNasty and Swagger, and honestly I’m glad you all are still buddies, and I’m happy to know you all are doing well and having fun. As for me, I’m trudging along and surviving, making ends meet and enjoying whatever I can in hopes off staying sane and getting through this thing we call life. I wish you the best racc, 5 odd years late, but thank you for making me smile.

I don’t know why, but I keep coming back to this video over an over again after watching all of his other videos to help me understand what all happened. Every single time I watch one of his videos I smile, I laugh, I have a good time. I feel like I’m a part of a community when watching these videos. I don’t know if Rac will ever see this, but he made an impact on a kid’s life, on my life. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say this. You did a good thing man, and we miss you like crazy.
