Man I love watching Markiplier, and how he's never in denial

I'm sure it's already been said a hundred times here, but there's a theory that the voice in the elevator at the end starts out as Gregory, but after a small burst of static, is replaced by The Mimic again. The Mimic cuts Gregory off, sows distrust between you, and then is the one that drops the elevator. You also can hear Roxie say Kassie's name during the credits, possibly implying they both survived. But yeah, that's all part of FNAF's greatest problem. They just keep setting up more mystery rather than resolving any of the previous stuff... until an easter egg three games from now suddenly solves a whole bunch of stuff all at once, if you beat it a special way while standing on your head and listen to it backwards.

For people wondering why Gregory knows so much. In the "Tales from the Pizzaplex" novels we hear about GGY someone under Malhares/Mimics control who knows alot of hacking and stuff (We hear about them on the therapy tapes aswell). Basically Gregory and Vanessa now know so much after both being under the mimics control.

I got to admit, I do agree how these games focuses too heavily on setting up future games rather than solving their own. I do believe Help Wanted 2 will be the game to piece A LOT of this together! Great video and can’t wait for one dedicated to the FNAF movie!😂

I’m actually in full agreement about Ruin as a whole. Everything FOAFY said at the end was just so on point. The FNAF lore is so far up it’s own butt at this point that it isn’t even that fun to try understanding anything unless you bought every single book the moment it released.

Gregory's actions in the finale make so much more sense if this is the PQ ending, because then he's getting all his access and knowledge from Vanessa.

I feel so bad for Roxy, Chica, and Monty, they never asked for any of what happened to them in the main story. Ryder was so right, they're just trying to do their jobs. No one had to lose their face, or their hands, or their entire body, or get crushed and sent down a garbage shoot. From my understanding, to Gregory, Freddy is the only one on his side, and everyone else is trying to hurt and or kill him. I don't know what might have given him that idea. At first I thought maybe he was chased by Vanny before the events of the game took place, but that's obviously not the case because when he sees Vanny while they are hiding in that one scene, he speaks as if he'd never seen her before? Maybe I'm remembering that scene wrong. I never actually got to finish the game myself. It was very laggy and wouldn't load on my computer, and I got very overwhelmed after the first chase scene with Monty (when you finally make it to office number one) and couldn't play the rest myself, so I watched playthroughs on KZfaq. Any way, back to my point. While Gregory might feel like he needs to do anything in his power to survive and that everyone but Freddy are the bad guys, to unpossessed Vanessa and the other animatronics, all they are trying to do is catch him so they can get him out and to his parents. To them, Gregory is just another child-customer who is breaking protocol by being in the pizzaplex after hours. It was actually so cute how Roxy actually seemed to care for and protect Cassie. It goes to show that she's not meant to be evil, she was just following her programming. In the base game, how can we even be sure that Gregory is killed when they catch him. It says game over and only shows static. Sure maybe he is killed, or maybe the developers just decided to cut to static instead of adding another mechanic of trying to escape their grasp when the main character is captured. Think about it: logically in a real life situation, they would have to have protocol to ensure that if any child were to get locked in overnight, that they would not be injured and would be safety released to their parents when they are found. If MatPat's prediction of the FNAF timeline is correct, and afton's wife or I'll call her "Mrs. Afton" for the sake of clarity, created the pizza plex in attempt to bring her family back together and complete her late (husband? ex-husbands?) wish, of course she would know who Gregory was - and so would Vanny - being that Afton was a part of her. While Mrs. Afton would have made sure to program everyone else not to harm any child, and programmed Freddy Fazbear to protect her son - Gregory - from harm, it's Vanny was the only one who even remotely deserved their ending. Of course Vannessa did not deserve any of it - she never asked to have her mind corrupted by the spirit of a psychopath. If you look at how Roxy attacks Cassie during ruin, none of her motions are all that harmful - even though she really thinks that she's attacking Gregory. All she does is grab Cassie and demand her eyes back - meaning that in the base game, Gregory isn't actually killed when captured. Although during that sequence during the actual game play if you are caught by her you get the usual game over screen, they make it a point to show that Roxy did not actually attempt to harm her capture. The only real difference between Roxy, and the rest of the cast members at this point aside from Roxy actually being a node is that, aside from her eyes, she is completely in tact. Freddy is missing a head, Monty is missing the lower half of his body, most of his wires, and his green outer shell, and chika is rotted almost completely from the inside with all of the gross old cheese melted into her wiring, reacting how any computer would if you spilled water or coffee on it accidentally. Freddy is the only part of this that confuses me, being that we know based on one of the cutscenes in the base game, this is the version of the story where Gregory escapes with Freddy's head still in working order. I believe though that Monty, Chika, and Freddy's behaviors toward Cassie are all a result of being severely damaged, while Roxy is still more in tact and able to function as she was meant to. They - the rest of the cast members, other than Roxy, might think they are following regular protocol on base level, but every other part of them is reacting like any other vengeful spirit who was unfairly killed by someone who they were just trying to help. They don't know who Cassie is, they don't care, the last kid who got trapped in the pizza plex caused severe damage to them. Now this person is unknowingly going to do more harm, just stop her, whatever it takes. Ofcourse, Cassie doesn't know what she's doing, but Gregory kind of did. Sorry for the essay - got a little carried away there. I'm aware a lot of this might be very well known information, I guess I just felt strongly about this and had to defend my main point - Roxy, Monty, and Chica were not really the bad guys - I mean yes they are from a gameplay standpoint - but they aren't if you take a closer and more logical look at what is actually taking place during the game. They were just trying to do their jobs and follow their programming, they did not deserve any of what they got. Edit: went back and read through. Wrote this in the middle of watching the video. Then Ryder reminds me, that in the ending that ruin is extending from, Vanessa doesn't die, but Vanny does. So Vanny deserved her ending and so did Vanessa. 👍

As I understand it, the Lil Music Men staying still and not following is an intentional game mechanic surrounding the child nodes you're deactivating. If you deactivate a node, then it deactivates the nearby Music Men (or maybe I have it backwards and it activates any stragglers). In any case, it wasn't really much of a glitch It's everything ELSE about the Music Men that was glitched out

I have a theory about Roxy coming back to defend Cassie, Roxy booted back up in safe mode, that is the extant of my theory.

Idea: what if the voice leading Cassie was her father's instead of greggory? He was an employee so the mimic could find plenty of recordings of him and it could be a parallel to the story candy cadet tells

I thought Ruin was a pretty good DLC and better than the main game, But yeah I agree on the endings, They were very abrupt and underwhelming and they gave us more questions than answers, I really hope there will be another DLC or more chapters for SB to continue on where this left off, Help Wanted 2 I feel like will be a prequel to SB. I really hope Cassie and Roxy are still alive and I really want to see more of their friendship so bad! And I hope Eclipse is alive too and he comes back as well in the future, Same with Glamrock Chica, She deserves better too.

In the mimic part, I’m surprise House is not ripping you to shreds like always things for holding me back. I’m surprised she didn’t use her damn sharp as heck he’s facing make another game where we find Monty teeth and replace it with Ras and surprise her she’s not ripping nothing to shreds.

As much as it sucks that we’re never getting back the original plot for SB…try and take comfort knowing this definitely *wasn’t* the plan Rewatching the February 2021 trailer + studying scrapped voicelines and other cut content, it’s pretty clear that stuff like Gregory’s backstory, Vanny and Vanessa, why Freddy is different etc *was* all going to be addressed. Maybe not thoroughly explained (this is still FNAF) but the answer would’ve been obvious/implied enough that we wouldn’t need to go digging in the files or rely *so heavily* on the books to understand what’s going on.

At the very end of the 1st (and I think agreed upon) ending after the credits we here Roxy call out "Cassie?" which seems to be setting up that she finds at least our body but most likely us still alive at the bottom of the elevator shaft. Possibly teasing the next big game where maybe she will be a companion to us as Cassie like Freddy was to Gregory.

Ruin has a great narrative when you look trough the lens of the books, its canonized them and it tied up the loose ends of them. Fnaf isnt just a game franchise its a book one too, so all the lore should now be considered together,
