The only apology video i ever truly believed was Jenna Marbles. 42 minutes apologizing for not creating what some felt was not an appropriate fish tank. She explained what she had done, she accepted criticism, she apologized for her actions, she took responsibility, she explained what she had learned. She showed how she had implemented what she had learned. Explained why she was apologizing. Expressed the remorse over possibly teaching 'bad fish-ownership' advice, like. She was so genuinely upset about possibly mistreating a fish, not for being caught out, but genuine sadness for her pet fish. Best apology video.

I think the interesting thing is that this is probably the least messed up thing I have seen a youtuber apology for, which means two things for me 1. people are more willing to except this apology, because it was in the grand scheme of things not that bad. 2. The fact that she, had the least problematic behaviour and the best apology shows that if you are able to do a really shitty thing in GENERAL you are not going to be willing to accept criticism and genuinely apologize.

it is not ethical for a therapist to see someone who is a friend of their patient so
@kimberlybega8271
@kimberlybega8271 Ай бұрын
So no, there is nothing in my professional code of ethics (American Counseling Association) against seeing a friend of a client as a client as well. You just can't go saying, "Oh, you know so-and-so? They come see me, too," and have to kind of play dumb if they ask if you know the other client. Sometimes you figure out down the line that two of your clients know each other. Therapists can even see two people in the same family, though some prefer not to. The issue is having good boundaries and making sure you are not sharing what one party said with the other without their *written* permission; it's harder to see a scenario where you as a professional would need to share information with a client's friend, though. Some therapy referrals come from friends and family of current or past clients. So yes, the issue is the HIPAA violation, not seeing two people who know each other. Edit: However as a therapist you are not allowed to provide therapy to *your own* friends and family. There is a whole section in the code of ethics against "dual relationships."

It is, there are better, more nuanced terms to describe mental conditions that would have previously be called retarted…

I think there’s something to say about language being very important in the whole Click situation. We have to remember that English is NOT click’s first language, nor is the American nuances that come with American English. I think it’s important to frame that people learn at different times and rates, and the most important thing is when he learned it was wrong, he stopped. I don’t think that’s brought up enough. It shows more about his character that he’s learned from his mistakes beyond what illuminaughtii has learned from hers.

I feel so vindicated by Blair's fall... I had a horrible fan interaction with her on a livestream where I tried to add context to the subject she was covering (a cult my dad happened to be a part of), and she accused me of being a racist for saying there was more to their beliefs than just eugenics. For the record, that cult is racist. They do believe in eugenics. It's a cult, they're bad - most of the reason my dad didn’t get too deeply involved was that he wasn't white or rich enough for them. I was groomed in my teens but didn't realize it until I was much older. When I was 13 I knew a woman who was 10 years my senior. By the time I was 14 we started having sex. It went on pretty frequently until I was 20. I never really thought anything of it. I just thought I got lucky (I was a stupid, naive kid). Then, about a year ago, i was talking to my wife and told her about it (I didn't go into detail, but explained it well enough). She just looked at me and, considering she was sexually abused until her late teens, and simply said "Oh god. You were groomed and didn't know it!" I thought about the whole thing and realized I really was groomed. I say that to say this. People who make false grooming/SA accusations are the absolute worst and will never understand how damaging something like that is to those of us who have gone through it. While it seemed great back then, in hindsight, i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. By the was, I was 42 when I realized it. Im 43 now.

@@jordanwardan7588 I appreciate your consideration, but I don't mind explaining it. I met her through two of my older friends at the time. They were both trying to get with her, but she wasn't interested in them. We became friends and, in that first year, I was basically her little brother. We'd joke, play videogames, argue, and talk like siblings would. It started off innocent enough. Then, just after my 14th birthday, things changed. I hit my growth spurt and was 6'1" two months after my birthday. I went to see her one day and we got to play fighting (again, nothing unusual). At one point I was in her face acting like I wanted to fight and she gave me a look that said "I want to kiss you," before walking away saying to herself "No. He's 14." I was kind of confused but, being a naive kid, thought nothing of it. About a month later I was at her house and she was braiding my hair. Then she started kissing my neck (an easy way to turn me on even to this day) and, before I knew it, we were having sex. I figured it was a one time thing until a week later when I went to see her and we were at it again. For the next six years we would have frequent sexy time. Like I said, I thought nothing of it for years until last year. Now that I fully understand what it was, I wish I could go back and stop it. But, alas, it happened and I can't change that. Thank you again for your consideration of my feelings about this. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but it was a revelation I needed.

As a csa survivor, abusers will acuse there victims of crimes they have committed against there victims. it is also ironically grooming. Ppl don't seem to know that the grooming process is not just to potential victims. It is to everyone around potential victims. It allows them to build a bed of potential deniability. Why letting them keep pushing with there inappropriate behaviour. To see what they can get away with before ppl call them out. And to see who gives them a pass. Which helps narrow down who is an enabler. And thus they know is safe for them to be inappropriate around. It also let's them know that they can abuse around those ppl. The net is also a way they can say they were just 'joking!' And that's just there style of humour. To create a groundwork of there behaviour not being anything serious. And all those actions are grooming. They also tell on themselves with projection. Often those yelling the loudest about groomers, are ppl who use that tactic to abuse. All three often result in unhealthy, controlling, manipulative relationships. As far as which one/s, if any, effect her, it's all speculation on our part anyway. What is worth stating is that even if this is the case and she is affected by one or more of these personality disorders, she still chooses to act in such a horrible manner. She could control herself and any antisocial tendencies she may have, just like you can choose not to eat something that's not healthy for you even though you want to. Unfortunately, I was too young to ever get to ask him about his time there nor was my mom old enough to really remember. One of those things I regret, now that she's gone, is that I never thought to ask her about it. Anyhow, you might be interested to know that the folk song "16 Tons" is about life as a coal miner, and the line "Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company store". Refers directly to *_debt bondage_* , also known as *_debt slavery_* _Currently, debt bondage is the most common method of enslavement with an estimated 8.1 million people bonded to labour illegally as cited by the International Labour Organization in 2005_ (Wikipedia) Hard to believe the practice still exists, albeit not in the US.

I don't know how true this is because it's from a random comment I read, but one fan said that english isn't even Click's second language, but his third. If that's true, then yeah, I completely understand him repeating a word that he understands is slang for "stupid." When you're learning a new language, you're going to learn proper words, yeah, but you'll also want to know the slang words commonly used so that you sound more casual in conversations. Acting like he was using it to be deliberately malicious is so weird and gross and backwards, and MASSIVELY hypocritical. Especially since he doesn't use it anymore and removed it from past content specifically because he *didn't* want anybody to be offended or feel targeted by the word! He did the right thing! But nah, according to Blaire he should be tarred and feathered and brought to the town's square. Gimme a break.

Not to mention he was a teenager, learning english, mostly using minecraft servers to practice english. I've worked with English Language Learner students before. With the way she treated wonder as an employee of her business she can be in DEEP DOO-DOO. Employer harassment or disparagement of an ex-employee is a is something that can be looked into very seriously and Blair could owe wonder for the legitimate suffering he dealt with by her hands while employed by her and for the exposing of his private mental health. Wonder should seek legal counsel to see how viable any of that is.. 👀

@@Dreamscape195 I know exactly how you feel! I saw Tipster's video about her that came out 2 years ago, and when I saw everything that happened during her time with Tommy, and how she deleted all of those videos without permission or notice to the group and left, it became clear to me that she was not the kind of person who would be honest and transparent about anything that happened in the future. Everything I saw in Tipster's video was enough for me to not want to subscribe to her and I haven't watched a single one of her videos for two years when I used to watch them constantly in my free time before all of this. I actually remember my friend suggested that we watch an iilluminaughtii video sometime earlier this year and I mentioned that there were issues with her, although I couldn't remember the details anymore. Something about her misrepresenting a DM and badmouthing a really sweet KZfaqr, deleting videos that belonged to another creator without permission because she did terrible anti-sjw humor or whatever and it made her look bad. Then a month or so later I see people making videos about her and I just knew it caught up to her. I remember watching the Click's video when it came out, and now I'm just watching all of this and it's clear her behaviors have caught up to her. She spent a very long reaping and now she is sowing. There's no amount of money she can throw at this issue to make it go away because she practically incriminates herself every time she opens her mouth or goes to the hellscape bird app. I think honestly, this is all a net positive. The survivors of her abuse can finally speak up about what they experienced, and every time she responds she just shoots herself in the foot. Her web of abuse and deception is finally in plain view for everyone to see, because she was so confident that she'd never get caught and that she has enough money to keep everyone quiet. At some point money doesn't matter anymore. It will be a lot harder for her to get people to trust her, which is good, because it will be harder for her to find people to abuse. Maybe this break down of her career and community will force her to let go of some of the ego that must come with a platform of her size. I would hope that she can recognize that she needs to take time to herself to figure out what is going on that is causing her to feel the way she does. It's the only way she can move forward and hopefully learn how to handle her feelings in a way that doesn't hurt other people. I hope one day she can find peace and make amends to the survivors as well as she can, and forgive herself and let go of all of it. I hope that she can build herself a new life, a new community, and a new family, once she has made amends, learned from her abusive actions in the past, learned how to handle her emotions and feelings and relationships in a healthy way that does not endanger the health or wellbeing or happiness of those around her. Because at the end of the day we all deserve a chance to learn to be better, and we all deserve a chance to be happy. Unfortunately for Blair, she has a lot of work to do and she is the only one who knows whether or not she can do it. But we can all hope that eventually she will at least try. Sorry for the essay lol. TLDR: Tipster's video from 2 years ago made me unfollow her and watching all of this go down has deeply validated my decision!

I completely agree! I felt bad that she kinda knocked on the click for that. We have to view slurs through a cultural lense. For example, in America it is looked down on to use the n word if you aren’t black but there are many countries where it is completely socially acceptable because they don’t have the same historical context that the US has. I think we also have to acknowledge that English is not the Clicks first language! And he’s apologized and taken action to completely remove any stories he’s read on his channel that contained slurs.

Yeah same, the way she put her reaction to it kinda made it feel to me like she was condemning him for the fact that he didn't entirely see an issue with personally. The guy is Swedish, he's not going to have the same views towards certain words as Americans and native English speakers. What matters is whether or not he use's it where he has actively made the decision to not use it because he understands that using it can hurt others even if it doesn't carry the same weight with him and in his country and as it does in the US. It just kinda hurts to here the complete disregard for that especially for someone who is seemingly so through in her research, it's like she's completely forgetting the fact that he's got a very different experience with various things.

My husband took his life. He'd attempted before and had left me a letter... I got a text instead of a physical letter the day he actually passed away. I can't imagine ever showing those to anyone. Even before he died I never showed anyone the letter he sent me. I would not wish what happened to us on anyone. But unless you've actually lost someone this way, you'll never really understand how it feels to be left behind when someone you love chooses to end their life. There's grieving, so much sadness... but there's anger too. It was the worst time of my entire life, by far. I've lost loved ones but it was never their decision. After this you notice just how often suicide is joked about. How many movies, shows, comics and other media portray nooses or other "tools" used to end lives. Some disgusting people would use his issues against him including his ex-wife who then used his deepest insecurities against him in texts almost daily, which I still have copies of saved. Telling him his kids would be better off without him and how he ruins everything, etc. I already disliked her because she's so obviously a bad person but once I saw what she'd been saying to him after he was brave enough to tell her what happened after his first attempt when he was hospitalized.... Now I see her as a real monster, worse than any figment of imagination. Truly she has a decrepit hideous soul, if she has any at all. Suicidal ideation is not a gotcha to use against someone. If you're lucky enough to get warning, like a note for example, that's a goddamn blessing because it may mean you have time to intervene and help them. I did everything I could think of to help my husband but no mater how much I asked and literally begged, he wouldn't accept it. If you're struggling with suicidal thoughts PLEASE try to remember that depression lies to you. You ARE worthy of love. You DO deserve happiness. You ARE NOT beyond help, it is NOT too late to fix things and the only way anything will get better is if you are here to keep trying and fighting for them too TL;DR Suicide is serious Sharing someone's suicide note\letter publicly is absolutely abhorrent behavior. Privately to a Dr or their trusted loved one to try to help them is much different than a fucking jerk who tells everyone just to be a bastard. If you're having suicidal thoughts please talk to someone.

One of the worst ways someone can act towards you is to blame you for behavior that is out of your control, as though there is no "real illness". I was diagnosed with manic depression in the early 90s, which is now called bi-polar personality disorder. I have periods of becoming extremely high strung, vindictive and nasty for short periods of time followed by days of general anxiety, lack of energy and experiencing regret, lethargy, and self-hatred while the victim of my behavior, usually someone close to me, is well aware that I am struggling against mental illness, days of living like, if I don't die tonight I will live for a thousand years - being able to get writing done and experiencing healthy relationships. Then there's the crash, where nothing can get me out of near-catatonic state for days on days, and the idea of DARVO, what I had been calling "role-reversal defensive attack" both blames you for your mental illness and denies that it exists, despite the cornucopia of medications, personal attempts at self-murder and a family history of death by self. Don't let those people make you doubt your sanity further, even if you have acted badly, which is a terrible cycle with uncontrollable and extreme mood destabilization because your behavior makes you feel guilty and thus deserving of being shamed, shunned and made to account for yet not be "believed" for being mentally ill. It's not fucking fun, hence the "illness".

That’s her style but it just became kinda boring then this happened and I’m all the way done with her.

You can break an NDA and have zero consequences for doing such in cases of abuse which this is. If she takes wonder or anyone to court then they can sue for emotional distress, defamation and/or blackmail. Blair is an abuser, she is a control freak, she a downright monster, she open Pandora’s box on herself and I hope she gets the karma she deserves.
@ponykazy3725

From what I heard its difficult to sue online influencers for defamation. You have to prove that the slander and the harm caused was 100% intentional, which is near impossible sometimes. Off the top my head, yes we have evidence that proves Click's rumors are blown out of proportion, but do we have any evidence of Blair admitting it's all BS? Dose she have evidence that can prove her line of thinking? (Its flimsy, but yes) Basically as long as she can say "I genuinely belived Click was a p*** supporter," we cant prove that it was done with "mal intent." I'd like to be wrong, but they will need a good lawyer. It's not as easy to convince the court room as it is the internet :/

@@ponykazy3725 Yeah, impossible probably to prove Blair has done anything wrong defamation etc. wise, but the same goes for her: she doesn't have a leg to stand on against Wonder sueing her back for illegal seizure of his property (in the car) etc. Like, one can't sue her for this tit for tat defamation stuff (never mind e.g. The Click and One Topic being in different countries, and that's prolly the only reason so far they haven't received any C&Ds from Blair's company), neither can she. As a public person, she has to prove the same malice, and the threshold is super high. Much higher than Wonder potentially breaking his NDA once Blair let the cat out of the bag with private issues in her own video first. Employees have a right to whistleblow, speak up against abuse AND to respond (in most cases anyway) to falsehoods spread about them by the other party in the NDA. Also, NDAs cannot silence people in court, because a court testimonial precedes an NDA. And from what it sounds like, Wonder has already taken steps to file against Blair for his lost property. Interesting to see if those C&Ds are the only thing Blair has in her bag....

my personal thought on why she shared wonder's note. My thought process was to a: manipulate wonder (reminding him of his trauma would make it much harder to do a level response) b: try to make the audience think he's not mentally stable and c: try to quell early on anyone else trying to speak up against her. That last part I think is that she's thinking others would be hesitant to speak up since she has all this personal information and just dropped perhaps one of the biggest private matters publicly. Now nothing is off the table for her.

I hope you all realize that Wonder's mental health crisis was entirely *engineered* by Blair. * Blair baited him out there with talks of his own place, then forced him to live with them for months. * Blair couldn't fairly charge him rent, since it was her who didn't follow through on the new place. And he was already out the costs and disruption of moving. But Blair went out of her way to guilt him for being a "freeloader". * Blair made him live in an unsanitary, toxic environment. Messy houses affect mental health negatively. * Despite calling him a freeloader, Blair gave him almost no work to do. It's hard to maintain self-esteem in an environment like that. * Blair continued to put more *unwanted* debt on him (a BMW? SRSLY?) in order to increase his obligation and her control. Same with how she took over Sad Milk management. Obligation and control. * Blair constantly manipulated him to pull him over to her side, and undermined his confidence in his own thoughts and feelings. * Blair used that control over him to attack her self-created enemies. People who were his friends, further damaging his psyche. * He had a computer issue while working on an assignment, so he extended the deadline, flew to pick up a computer, only to have Blair fire him on what seems like the same day. Blair didn't *want* him to succeed, as his failures increased her control. * When it became unbearable, he left her house with nothing but the car Blair forced on him - which he'd ended up living in. * When he was discussing arrangements for returning the car, Blair flew out to immediately and secretly repo it even though he was currently on time with his payments and still had time left for the next payment. All because she wouldn't show him the paperwork. * Blair stole all his belongings in the car rather than simply emptying it there, including his KZfaq play button. That was his biggest achievement, and Blair threw it away just to hurt him. * At the end, he went back with *less* than he'd had, with significant wasted time and debt and nothing to show for it but all the mental baggage Blair had forced on him. * And she continued to attack and manipulate him from afar. When Wonder was at his lowest, thinking of how he had nothing and almost turned to s*****e, Blair lied about the details and sent the police over there, hoping they'd attack him for her. She deliberately misrepresented a dangerous situation for her benefit. I'm sure if he'd been a casualty, she'd have milked that for KZfaq likes, too. Blair built a discord like a spider web, filled with sycophants. And she would pluck those strings to manipulate them constantly into attacking others by playing the part of a victim. That discord manipulation has traumatized hundreds of people, but the closest people got it the worst. And when her shameful behavior caught public attention, Blair dragged out the worst moments of his life - which she'd created - as an attempt to further profit of his suffering. The suffering Blair caused him. Blair's a filthy, disgusting person and Blair don't deserve any success: past, present or future. Everything she has is from stealing and ruining the lives of others. Blair is incapable of coexisting with anyone because she insists on being better even if it means she has to destroy them. She's also incapable of creating content that doesn't result from abusing people. Even now she runs a content farm, and I'm sure they work insane hours for terrible compensation. Blair is not mentally healthy enough to be in a position of power or influence because she can't help but abuse it. If there was an equivalent to King Midas that turned disintegrated everything it touched, that'd be her.

100% agree. If Wonder's account is accurate (and I believe it is, based on evidence provided by him, Oz, and even Blair herself), Blair almost *murdered* a person - first unintentionally through bullying and abuse, then intentionally, by trying to have the cops do it for her. That's unforgivable.

I just feel so bad for everyone who’s having to deal with this. It can’t be easy. Sending good vibes to those people.

I reckon these videos getting double to quadruple views is sending love their way. That said it’d be beautiful to see the channels she has tried to crush grow in numbers too. I’ve dealt with people like her. It’s been a massive chapter in my life. I fear that we may unleash her onto the offline world once this is all said and done. That too me is a much scarier thought to deal with. Abusers will always find someone to use and abuse. It feels wrong in my opinion to consider a victory when you just got them out of your backyard. It’s not a true victory if she takes her abuse offline. I’m honestly starting to get down watching her constantly attack everyone she can. If she can’t learn now with the internet telling her to check herself she will never learn an ounce of empathy.

We should start a GoFundMe for the people she ends up suing. Whether she wins or loses. They're gonna have legal fees. Edit never mind, I'm a goose. This is already happening :)

I would love to see you and Madison do some sort of collab, I watch both of you and you both have such a professional way of speaking and empathetic perspectives on the topics you cover! Thank you for such amazing work, and I can't wait for your newer videos!! Much love, xx

Agreed! Both are wonderful creators, and that would be cool to see. I found both of those guys through the situation, and they are such better creators than Blair ever was.
