Giddy wasn’t “acquitted” of any charges because he never was tried of any charges. He wasn’t even “charged” under the law as violating anything. This isn’t an argument about the validity of the claims but a point to say that if he was tried charged and tried he may have actually been convicted and not been “acquitted”

I think Josh fits for the team. Just needs to be a better defender. A player like him should be making all defense, he’s a huge pg he should be locking people down. His passing is great, playmaking is decent, shooting is mid but has improved. I see improvement in Giddy so I say keep him, I think OKC needs an off ball guard like Josh so that their shooters/scorers can have free rein. So if he can improve some defensively and develop his mid range skills further I think he’ll be just what they need.

As an Australian, i was devastated over this Josh Giddey matter. He just had a great 2nd season and i bought his jersey. He was well liked and was even a character in the 2K story. I thought Australia was getting a consolation prize for Ben Simmons fcking over being our country's best player. But then this happened and i lost all confidence in him. Our country just cant have shii. We just want one player to bloody cheer for, to be the face of our country 😮💨

@@walkrwalkr3622 Whilst Kyrie was born here, he isnt Australian by blood, i dont consider him a proper Aussie unless he plays for us in the Olympics like Thybulle did. I love Green and Exum as well as other in the league like Duop Reath, Jock Landale, Dyson etc but they are all role players

He really didn't have a bad season though, he just had his minutes cut a bit. He didn't improve, but it's understandable that he'd be distracted. I think he comes back a better player next year and the Thunder keep him at least until the trade deadline.
