Once a charity is established, that is irrelevant. A founder is just that, a founder, whether or not forever glorified. Once a public organisation the charity has to act in the best interests of the charity. In this case, who knows, it might be to ask Mary, and she might then ask Marie to be included.

I agree 100% but sadly all awards now get tarred with the same brush. Maybe this is why our British Royal family never accept gifts or awards. They have a fine line to walk with donations to their charities but full annual accounts have to be published and put in the public domain for scrutiny. Yr auto reading was spot on. According to the folks in the US, the wife started the foundation in his name. She remarried and had 5 children with the new hubby who is the CEO...both the wife and hubby take large salaries from the foundation. Very little goes to actual charity as we know it. They are also in on other boards with big names so all is being out in the open. This is probably why \pat's mum is so upset...she shd be. Karma! They have been markled, including their pals. I don't think they support the Vets per se via the Warriers Games. Looks like another scam.

I’m surprised that they use 75% of the donations for administrative expenses because I was under the impression that they are only allowed to use 25% for administrative expenses. I honestly believe that the Pat Tillman charity has been markled and I also think that the name of the award will change. Ah, the Markle touch… I’d run fast from this couple if I were not quite on the up and up. These two have shone a light on so much corruption that I’ve come to think this was their soul contract. MM has ‘culled the weakest link’, as Taz has said.

We should ALL demand that in future, ALL charities have to list their total ADMINISTRATION COSTS on the front page of their websites, so we can choose to only give to charities with a small amount of costs, to make sure OUR DONATIONS go to the cause we are supporting rather than it going into the pockets of the founders of these foundations..... That is a petition I would sign in a heart beat...

The auto writing you did with Pat Tillman was incredible He clearly stated the awards show was a fund raiser that was a joke for him being a hero … killed by ‘friendly forces?’ By his own side ?
