He could have done the job whilst we were there but we're still unsure. It's good to have so many recommendations from people though! 🤭 Oh goodness! I had to giggle at the 40 minutes to escape bit but that must have been some effort with such big planks - WOW!! Thought ours were big enough! Mark is going to have to get back to the gym so he can keep lifting them for as long as possible although a lot of people have mentioned air suspension which we did talk about so may look into this further now that we have Millie. You must be so excited to be getting a new one - remind me what make/model it is? Where are you going to head to first? Amanda & Mark 😍

Hi Amanda. I guess air suspension would be good. Our new MOHO will be a Swift Voyager 584. not a clue where we will go first. We have photo of the caravan on top of the planks. We attached a golf trolley to one end and a sack trolley to the other and steered it up our drive set it up then brought the van up on the mover. Good fun NOT. We take inspiration from yourselves and a few others Y tubers and hope to enjoy many road trips. 😃😃👍

Just to add, we have a similar issue but in reverse with our drive. Finally added air suspension to our last van which gave us a 5 inch up lift if measured on the back end which was enough. Expensive when you have the Alko rear suspension, but much cheaper with the Fiat back end. The difference being you can use it when you are out and about.

We didn’t think 5 inches would be enough and couldn’t find a way to measure this without actually making the investment. Maybe this is something we will have to look into further. @@AdventureswithAmandaandMark we’ve downscaled to the Globecar 640 Prime. Still has fixed rear beds and a reasonable sized garage but not as big as yours.

Hi Mark, we did talk about getting air suspension but didn’t know how to work out how much extra up lift it would give us without actually making the investment. It maybe something we will look into further but in the meantime we might possibly get slightly shorter (and lighter) ramps. Thank you for the suggestion though, we appreciate that - Amanda & Mark 😍

Hello,we are also based in Cornwall,St Austell to be exact. We are both still working so restricted holidays until we retire,we are planning to go abroad next year. We are spoilt for choice in Cornwall with amazing sites to go to. We have a Lyseo harmony 734, chose it because it has a queen size island bed. Love the build quality as well. Nice to meet some fellow Cornish Burstner owners 😊 One of things Mark really liked about ours was the build quality too. We have loads of storage as well and can keep the bikes safe in the garage. We are definitely spoilt for choice down here and sometimes I find it really hard deciding which coast to go to first 😂 We’re hoping to head down to St Ives in a few weeks time to a site I’ve wanted to visit for a while - have you got a favourite? We’re the same with my annual leave and we like raising as well so that ties up a few weeks of my leave so we’ll just have to make the most of our long weekends. Take care - Amanda 😍

Hello,I agree with Mark the build quality is fab. We had a new Swift previously but had several problems with it so we opted for a 3 year old Burstner. We love the North coast,Bude is a fav of mine. My wife loves the CAMC site at Tintagel. Hope you enjoyed your Cruise. We also love Dorset,Devon and Somerset. Not sure if you’ve tried any Tranquil Park sites,they are adult only and are dotted around the UK. Enjoy your travels,maybe our paths will cross one day 😀
