@xxJadynnxx So, the way they did it in the video, Im not concerned because it was more in the back do the throat then close to the esophageal opening. The kitty honsetly could probably still spit it out base on how they threw it. But by holding the mouth closed and blowing on their face it should encourage the swallowing reflex and the rest should be taken care of. The mouth will correct any "mis-firing" from there. If they were to take a pill plunger and go straight to the back of the throat without making sure I might be more worried about something like that.

When I was younger I was kicked from a discord group for calling out a video of a man who wired all four arms of a rat to restrain it and was slapping it in the face with cheese as a joke. This isnt one of those instances. So we should choose our battles wisely, but never forget our humanity and compassion.

The bouncing you see looked exactly like my cat while he was spasming during his seizures and the tensing of the body also looks like it. This is also why I said "looked like" instead of pretending to know for sure.

My room mates cat screams at the vet too. Like the one in the video. It's so loud you can hear it from the sitting room like you're next to her. She HATES being touched so much, that basic care at the vets means she usually gets a sedative, which is dangerous if given too often. Thank the lord she's never needed a bath!!

For more context the cat was at the vet getting his temp checked and shots (typical vet check up) When cats have seizures they usually meow a different way or not at all. It does seem like a seizure tho
