i'm glad i'm not the only one. I love textured plastic on mice. never been a fan of the smooth rubber sticky coating on the gprox and the xm1r. for some reason I preferred the rough plastic on razer mice.

Nice review! This mouse really is amazing. I actually liked the clicks better than kailh 8.0s as I found them easier to actuate and more spammable. The side buttons are a big improvement, the coating is nice, and the sensor feels great (coming from a g305). If I were to nitpick, I'd change the texture of the scroll wheel - not a fan of the spikes. This mouse would be my endgame, but I ended up returning my copy because the shape is not for me. For fingertip grip, I don't like hourglass mice that concave at the sides. That said, it was probably something I could get used to with time. The low weight makes the mouse feel smaller than it is and helps accommodate all grip styles, even those that it wasn't designed for. However, for a $150 mouse, I'd need the shape to be perfect for me. If you like this shape, there's not a better mouse on the market right now (including the gpx).

Mainly used the Vaxee Outset PA. Most soft pads I've tried were great with it.

In case you are still undecided, buy the V2 Pro. V3 has terrible quality control, I had to return two units. Got myself a V2 and could not be happier.

As good as this mouse is, i cannot forgo the charging dock so personally have to pass
