A SHARP pair of smaller scissors will eliminate the problem. I’ve been sharpening knives and scissors for 50+ years. They don’t have to be expensive! They just need to be sharp, all the way out to the very tip of the scissors. I have a pair of 50¢ scissors that cut this cord like a hot knife through butter. You should be able to use one blade of a scissor as a knife and do the slice a piece of paper test. If it passes the entire length of the blade, you’re on your way, unless your joint is loose or sloppy. I like watching your videos and it’s pretty cool that you showed us that even the pros have trouble once in a while!! Keep up the great videos!

pretty cool weave. Not my favorite, b/c the cross section is more of a square than an oval. the result is about as tall as a king cobra braid, but with 1/3 the width to balance it out. However, it's still pretty decent-- easy to learn, very intuitive, and doesn't require much in the way of resources. thanks for the vid!
