That's true. People slammed Tom for his leaked scientology video where he laughs during a church interview, really more like a testimonial. And it was absurd, but the things he talked about: helping people if they were on the side of the road after a car wreck, or getting people off drugs, etc., were very positive things. Bullshit? Maybe, but the sentiment was correct at least and no worse than anything any church, temple, or mosque promotes.

I was a staff member at a Scientology organization when Tom started publicly promoting Scientology. We were all thrilled this was happening, believing it would result in greater expansion. Our organization had already been growing for awhile, and things were going well for the most part. But the opposite happened; the increased scrutiny caused by this, along with the South Park episode and how easy it got to spread the truth through the internet, caused us to start shrinking. It got more and more stressful and we had trouble paying our bills, which I was partly in charge of. This along with my increasing doubts finally got me to leave. So I'm glad Tom played a part in my getting out; I have no idea how much longer I would have stayed "in" otherwise.

it's not even that Tom is acting like he has all the answers, it's the level of aggression in his approuch to almost talk down to you like a child. It's utterly repulsive and I see right through his Mr nice guy act. Its sad how brainwashed he and other have become, especially knowing the level of abuse that occurs, which he so obviously chooses to ignore.

If you give a medication to someone who is suicidal in the first place is it the medication or is it them?? I believe you about the individuals you know but why isn’t Scientology holding medical licenses for their e-meter therapy going clear?? If their clear session WORK definitively and clear the planet get medical insurance to pay $60 for a 45 minute session. Does no one in Scientology want to step up to a batchelors degree in care and CARE for people? They have to prove Scientologist do what they do in truth. Having a policy of some people aren’t worth helping ever is not what the ACTUAL mental health workers get to choose. Some Scientologist can’t even prove they can hold a job without Scientology claiming they make less than minimum wage to sell Scientology books working for other Scientologists. And Christian’s are not suppose to beg for money the Apostle Paul made tents to not be a burden to his church. Jesus group fished for their food. I am well aware that Connor Cruise fishes in the gulf but probably made his destination back to Clearwater, FL last night instead of some other gulf port.

In addition to the possibility of allergies, such as artificial additives to foods, it's possible that a lot of hyperactive kids are, simply, neurotic. A lot of these kids may be growing up in homes where there is an undercurrent of stress, for any one of a number of reasons, or, they may find themselves not being encouraged to process their feelings-repressing intense feelings will make you neurotic. The Church of Scientology is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt because it established to the agency’s satisfaction that it is organized and operates as a charitable religious organization. The church did not engage in a “ruthless battle to win a religious tax exemption”; rather, it simply worked continuously to demonstrate that it should be treated the same as other religious denominations.

The examination process resulting in exemption in 1993 was fully documented through an extensive administrative record that was then and is still available for the public to review; at 14 feet tall if the papers are stacked, the IRS’ record on the church is the largest in the history of exempt organizations. True about the eyes. Those eyes speak "crazy" volume. Not in a sense that what he's telling is true or not, but a lack of "open-mindness". Anyone who says they hold the Truth are a red flag, a ticking bomb if challenged.

It’s kinda brilliant that Scientology are against psychology. People who are mentally well would never fall for this crap.

Tom was critical of psychiatric meds because of the side effects of suicidal and homicidal tendencies and ideologies, many people committed suicide while on them or trying to get off of them, he observed his friend Kelly Preston beat postpartum depression with hormones which is a simple fix only a nutritionalist would know

And yet there are members of the church who are psychiatrists and psychologists. He's right we are suspicious of psychiatry as a profession but that doesn't mean we discriminate against the professional. Also it's incorrect that you need be a celebrity to be serviced at celebrity center.

....yes definitely and this woman Megyn Kelly has her own agenda with it all being a Christian. In their smug, self-righteousness they think they are the only ones and are always horribly threatened by the likes of Scientology or any one of about 3000 other religions.

No Megyn. Let Scientology be. They deserve the same respect as any other religion. If Cruise is influential or not that's their problem. Do you want to touch on religion? Why nobody says anything about the synagogues, people gave to pay to belong to one, a "church ". Leave religion alone.
