The fact that a side game mode ended up having more lore and care put into it than the main game mode (save the world) is honestly crazy to me.

Idea: They should bring in a story mode, full fletched campaign mode, single or multiplayer, with all the cutscenes, live events to replay again, have kind of a open world, take side quests, main story quest, cutscenes etc. How about THAT?

Question, how come the MEGA season was completely omitted? It played a part as to why Stellan's Rift Gate was destroyed and revealed a new member of The Last Reality, Triarch Nox. Not only that, Optimus Prime's transmissions in WILDS was never mentioned. His final transmission is what gave Slone the idea to use Kado Thorne's time machine to send Jones to the past.

I bet that Ramirez would’ve played a huge role in this too, considering she has quite a number of snapshots and was also the main face for stw. Unfortunately the voice actor left years ago so that’s probably why she wasn’t in the storyline.

I am almost wondering if this "extraction" will fail or succeed to an extent. If the time machine breaks down during or after this live event, we could possibly be transported to the Chapter 2 island or a completely new island altogether, and who else could help us repair the time machine than Dr. Who or Dr. Emmett Brown.

This is not only hyping me up for the event on Saturday, but it is also making me curious about what will happen next, will we have any recurring characters from the previous chapter or adapt to new ones, what will happen with the storyline behind the C5 island, and if the main storyline will collide with the upcoming modes we will get next chapter (for example, will the BR storyline collide/link with the Lego mode storyline... or even have a story collision with STW, which would be cool to get a BR voiced character like Jones in STW)... geuss the future will have all my answers, but there are no need for any time machines like Kado's to enjoy a good story, even if it isn't finished

Epic supposedly "rebooting" or "resetting" the entire storyline up until the Big Bang Event has serious implications. pretty much 6 years of lore leading to absolutely nothing and nowhere and all going down the drain, I mean think about everything Epic literally never explained, what is the connection between Battle Royale and Save The World, where the rocket went after Season 4, what exactly the in-between is, who beings like The Ice King, Prisioner, Monster, Singularity were, where the rockets went after Season X, who and and what Midas was and whatever happened to him, who the Seven actually are, who the Last Reality and the Cube Queen are and where they ended up, who Slone knew The Foundation as when he removed his helmet and why she was enraged, who Geno is and where he is, what was under the Foundation's statue behind those doors at the bottom, what the reality tree was supposed to be, who the Herald and her chrome powers are, and the mystery of the Nothing, the Seven all went missing after Chapter 3, Amie went missing after Chapter 4 Season 1, what happened to the Oathbound and the Ageless, who really is Kado Thorne and his time machine, what were those strange lights in the background mountains throughout all the Chapters, and how exactly did we get to Season OG and what it is, who exactly was in those rockets during the Big Bang event. To make it worse, there's probably still even much more than all of this; there's a ton of unresolved lore going back years, half a decade and possibly even longer, that Epic NEEDS to explain.

Tommy I cannot praise you enough for how incredible this video was. My friends and I are dug deep into fortnite's storyline, and at the end of chapter 3 it almost seems like it wasn't followed much and we got lost, angry and confused. Thank you so much for explaining in grave detail the entire storyline, you've earned another sub! 💪

I feel like Epic Games is missing out of a lot of profit with this story. Sure, it's a cool feature in the game but if make movies and books about this story line, it could be massive. 2 december would be the absolute perfect moment to announce a Fortnite movie because the game has gathered interest again.

i love how detailed this was, but i feel like some things were missing. A key part of Chapter 3 into Chapter 4 was Evie and The Peace Syndicate. What happened to them, and where did everyone related to the syndicates go? Especially because of the new Drift skins bundle in the shop being related to Drift being a part of the Fox Clan, who were close with The Peace Syndicate, alongside the other factions of Mega City.

I started playing Fortnite last year when Chapter 3 had started and I found T5G’s channel when I was looking up the storyline of Fortnite to learn about the lore of the game. I’ve enjoyed his videos and I know this one will be as good and looking forward to Chapter 5.

This video is actually a really good explanation of the complex Fortnite storyline, which is normally spread across countless forums and videos. GGS T5G! I use your code when I buy stuff sometimes, but I like to help out different creators. Still I always like new uploads from you!

I’ve never played Fortnite, but this 45 minute explanation was very, very entertaining.

6:00 you never talked about the Vault in Loot Lake or the Unvaulting event and how/why the zero point appears so different than any other time we’ve seen it. Considering this event led to the volcano eruption that destroyed Tilted Towers and led to the new Neo Tilted (which you also conveniently left out) this is a pretty big sequence of events in the maps history to just skip over.

13:13 I think Unicron would do a perfect villain for ending Fortnite. Some Marvel fans know that Unicron is the predecesor to Galactus before Marvel's first bankruptcy. Unicron is way more powerful often times refered to the worst villain as of being able to control reality(so can Primus wielder of the AllSpark), create evil clones(so can Kevin), devourers of realities(Galactus) and able to wield the stones.

I came here to check only chapter 4's storyline as it was so hard to follow for me, I got completely lost and I even thought Fortnite had left the storyline behind to just add random things to the map, it's really nice to find out they're still at it although I wonder if Donald Mustard leaving Epic is gonna change how they handle writing the story.

How fitting that the beginning of the storyline on the chapter one map also ends there with this new storyline direction. I’ll miss chapter one’s map, and I hope we see it again but I’m excited to see what Epic does next

This breakdown skips most of the clan stuff during chapter 4 that happened around the time Mega City showed up, which makes me think none of that was really that important in hindsight. Filler stuff. Regardless, this is the clearest breakdown I've heard of the entire story so far, and I've tried to watch a couple. Excellent vid and breakdown! I feel fully caught up even though I've been playing since ch3.

Loved that this video was a little slower paced. (Sometimes you go too fast for me 😜). The one thing I don’t understand is why Epic didn’t release the footage of the Zero point protecting itself. How would anyone understand what happened if it weren’t for leakers? The storyline is a huge part of the game for me, so I hope they have a strong comeback soon.
