What would you like to see next from the "Predator" universe?

There are a few different eras that I would love to see a Predator movie set. First, around 1600 in feudal Japan taking on samurai and ninjas. Second, in Scandinavia around the year 900 taking on Vikings. Third, during World War II in either Europe during the Battle of the Bulge, or in the Pacific during the invasion of Iwo Jima.

We can argue on which movies or comics are canon, but hopefully there is no discussion on the coexistence of the Alien and Predator franchises in the same universe. I think they fit rather nicely. And Prey was awesome, certainly the second best since 1987's.

So we have Predator,Predator 2,Predator 2018,Predator.And they are distinctive. In behaviour,skills,personality.Like people living in different towns or cities.Or village and city. Prey and Predator (2018) are NOT Canon!

After the events of LA in 1997. That is when the cannon stops. Like the Alien series the first two films stick and after they stunk. Prey is the only exception in a following film in its series.

You guys only touched upon one important thing, that the yautjas were slaves. If you actually look into the action figures bios, Yautja prime was the one who led an uprising over their overlords and even took one of the overlords heads and made a mask out of it. If you look at them mask / head it was a concept of the first predator that was going to be played by John Claude Van Damme. Since then many of the yautja people genetically engineered themselves to become better hunters. But I believe that some of the yautja were actually trying to keep their race pure and natural in honor of the yautja prime. This might have been the catalyst for the blood feud between different tribes. The different breeds of the yautja seen in films were stated in the productions. The berserker predators in the movie predators ware stated to be like from a desert type climate. If we look at each of the printer species the smaller ones might have been for jungle type atmosphere, while the larger ones are from more open spaced regions. It is kind of hard to tell if any of the yautja species can understand any of the earth languages. I would think that I would like to see a movie where at least one of them could speak a language fluidly. Even sign languages could be a plus. In regards of the movie The predator, it was supposed to have more predators in the film. If you look at neca's release of the figures, they were supposed to be two emissary predators wearing Earth military armor with some of that technology. It was also supposed to be multiple hybrid predators that both the emissary predators and the crazy escapees was supposed to be mowing down. Maybe they were planning to have some of the yautja be able to speak English or have a device that could translate for them. A lot of the materials in the comic books of redcon but at least they actually able to give us a glimpse of the cultures of the yautja species. In a couple of them that even featured females yautja well one of them looks more male but is larger than males. What do you think that they should do for a next installment of the predator franchise? With marvel and 20th century Fox being owned by Disney, they are able to do crossovers now. Where they have already done a wolverine versus predator comic book line. Do you think they will continue with that, where they could have the avengers fight off several predators or even have the predators hunting the skrulls or Kree? What if a symbiote bonds with a yautja and starts hunting other characters?

I’m not a fan of what was done with the Raefeal Adolini character in Prey. I don’t understand why they included that subplot when the comic book story is way better in every way

I think predator fell victim to its own cool design. The first film was great bc theres more suspense in what's unseen than what's seen. Ppl wanted more of that cool ass monster (myself included lol) but that created the same franchise issues that occurred in Jaws or hellraiser

12:30 the end of the movie was wrapped up so fast/terribly it doomed any future film in this timeline. It was horrible and the CGI made the wolves from The Day After Tomorrow look real.

The xenomorphs or whatever they’re called fill me with dread. The predators on the other hand always felt like iffy Doctor Who aliens to me. They’ve got comical faces that make them look like they’ve got a hair lip, plus the dreadlocks are really a poor design choice imo. Only seen the first two films and thought they were so so. Not a patch on the first two Alien films.

You got this all wrong the predator in 2018 is a renegade predator I believe and the one on from 2010 is also a predator who doesn’t follow the code. And kills anything . This is straight up false info.

AVP was horrible.

Predator vs musashi, and predator vs, Spartans are definitely on my list. But I also want a predator square off w/ snake plisken from the John carpenter escape films and a terminator. Also the predator vs the thing could be a lot of fun. Especially if it’s a team of predators. Also can predators ever hunt Kiaju (Japanese giant monsters like Godzilla). And if we’re going crazy what about a predator movie about hunting down the baddest of the bad, Freddy, Jason, Micheal. Chucky wouldn’t stand a chance.
