Everybody's chops are amazeballs. The arrangement is fluid. This is what music should be for this century, all encompassing melting pot of complementary sound.

Felt like coming back to listen to this masterpiece again. With the Remaster finally announced It's getting beyond hyped to experience VIII again. This medley never fails to leave me in tears by the end.

The transition at 4:50 and the timing of the swell at 6:00 gave me literal chills down my spine. I have appreciation for all VGM covers and interpretations, but that was quite probably the most impressive sequence that fit with visuals I have ever seen. How you only have a 30k views is beyond me, this is easily million+ territory quality. I am strongly looking forward to your interpretation of VII and IV if you ever so get to those.

It's hard to put into words how much FF8 means to me, it's a very dear game from my childhood and to this day I still have my original copy. It's easy to say that it's my favorite game and shaped a lot of my taste in video games today. So when I heard part 1 and nearly lost it from how fantastic it was, Hearing part 2, it's just breathtaking. You've done an amazing job and deserve more than a few thousand views. Thank you so much for bringing this outstanding soundtrack into a new light; Mr. Uematsu and his works certainly deserve it.

My favorite game of all time... This was one awesome tribute. I was looking forward to part 2 of this medley simply because I love this game so much, and the OST is one big reason why it is so important to me, after all. Marc and everyone involved in putting this together, this was truly unbelievable. FF8 has one of the greatest OST's of any game in history and this 40+ minute medley brought it to life in a way none of us could have ever thought possible. It's also crazy to consider that there's still great songs in the game that you couldn't fit into the medley (The Stage is Set, Premonition, Lunatic Pandora). I don't know if you'll be able to outdo yourself this time around Marc, but I sure as hell hope you try. Outstanding work.

I am absolutely stunned by the keyboard work in this part of the medley. The rest of the arrangement and medley is, unsurprisingly, done very professionally as well. In the seven months you made people wait for the second part of the medley, your skills have undoubtably improved and so has the final result of this part. You completely outdid yourself with this wonderful arrangement, mixing, editing, organising and every single other aspect that comes to play with medleys like this one. My compliments to every single musician who contributed to this medley and looking forward to seeing more in the future. :)

It always makes me feel so good listening to this. Even if this medley was 4 hours long, I would watch the whole thing. Many times. This is just a masterpiece. And each listen grants a new, and deeper appreciation for everyone involved, both collectively and individually. It is like seeing old friends, and meeting new ones. You always know everyone is just going to destroy on their instruments. So many spine-tingling moments spread throughout. All killer, no filler. It is hard to describe the impact that these medleys have had on me with a simple thank you, but it is a good place to start. This is beyond awesome. I honestly could never really get into Final Fantasy VIII; the amount of menu-hopping and micromanaging Junctions and all that just didn't appeal to me, especially coming off of VII. However, VIII's music is so awesome, and it combines so many different emotions into one beautiful amalgamation. One of these days, I'll gain the fortitude to play through VIII, if only to experience the story and music. Thank you for this and I can't wait to see what FF you tackle next! I definitely wanna see some love for X or IV! :D

I love how much work you dedicated to The Legendary Beast. I've thought for a long time that the final boss tracks in FF VIII are the greatest that Uematsu has produced (or at the very least, most underrated), The Legendary Beast chief among them. This collaboration doesn't just do it justice. It makes it come alive. I love all the details worked in there, especially the work done by mklachu on violin and 8BitBrigadier on flute. Really, really well done.

It's stupifying that this hasn't received more recognition. The amount of work, talent and creativity put into these KZfaq videoes is an as important legacy to the game as Uematsu's original score.
