Did you learn nothing by watching it? Politicians are professional liars and they can't hide micro expressions. This show is a powerful tool for finding truth. It threatens TPTB and their political fraud called "govt.", so it was eliminated, kicked off the air.

@@1voluntaryist You can easily find out why the show was canceled from IMDB and other credible sources. Its ratings were low through season two, but Fox gave it another chance. In season three, its ratings declined to a low of 1.5, with only 5.43 million total viewers. Fox decided to cancel the show.

Cal Lightman, Temperance Brennan -Bones, House, Sheldon (Big Bang theory) and Sherlock all have things in common. All are arrogant, opinionated, have an eye for detail, noticing what others don’t and tell it like it is. Imagine having them all together in the same room. Cal would just slouch on a couch and observe the arguments happening. Tim Roth knocks it out the park playing Cal so well. The supporting cast is just so amazing. So so sad it got cancelled at season 3. Please please bring it back 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@Aware_Bear Жыл бұрын
House as well as lie to me and several other procedural shows are interpretations of the character Sherlock. That's why they all have that same arrogant opinionated personality but with an eye for detail that makes them invaluable to the case. House is Dr Holmes obviously and Wilson was his right hand Dr Watson. Dr Gillian Foster is Cal's Watson. Another thing they don't mention a lot is the bromance that happened a lot in the Sherlock stories, so the Watson character is often portrayed by a woman character that ends up being a love interest of our homes stand in.

In the final episode of season 1, where 'al-Qaeda bombs' hit Washington, DC, they have the Jewish-American character Eli Loker - who 'suffers from radical honesty' - quip that he's moving to Israel since, "If I'm gonna live somewhere where I can get blown up in a bus or a mall at any time, I want beaches and I want women who speak their minds." In the scene where they work out that the 'suicide-bombers' were in fact patsies given bombs that were remotely-detonated, this exchange takes place: Loker: "They teach you that at Quantico?" Reynolds: "A week in Tel Aviv with Shin Bet." Loker: ** looks impressed at Reynolds ** Clever deception.

After Monk we got way too many of these shows where these non-law enforcement guys solve serious crimes but Lie to Me is just insanely stupid. The guy basically looks at someone's face and says "you are guilty". At least shows like psych, monk and chuck have a comedy aspect to it.
