I'm specifically jumping on here from the audio podcast to write that Rizvi Sahab, you speak flawlessly, and your impeccable command over Urdu is enough to keep the audience engaged for hours, BUT we know that it's nothing more than a mere honeypot, a honeypot you, and MQM, have used for nearly 2 decades to lure thousands and thousands of muhajirs into taking life/career-destroying steps, and have also used for justifying your - for the lack of better words - badmashi over Karachi. Thank you, Junaid for arranging this podcast. I do not thank you here for helping put the guest's views in front of the public (I couldn't care less about that), but I do thank you for giving me the flashback of MQM's Karachi, and I pray that may these people are never able to regain the control of my city. Clearly lying through his teeth and still shows no remorse for mu*d*ring famous public figures, target k*ll*ng of local karachities, snatching, the infamous weekly 'bhat'ta' collection, and what not... we haven't forgotten anything, Rizvi Sahab! All of your support was either a beneficiary of your wretched system or an integral part of it.

Second, a party (MQM) that flourished and was supported by the establishment doesn't have the right to criticize the same establishment. Regarding your criticism that IK lacks power, what did MQM do when they were in power besides k*lling people? MQM was a fear-based party whose primary purpose was to spread terror. Karachi could have achieved many things through a democratic struggle, instead of an armed one.The police should have been reformed, but this did not happen because Karachi did not have a representative (political party). despite mqms violent past i support them becoz they have never involved themselves in the qadiani controversy, they have never demanded a theocratic state nor have they used religion for political gain unlike other parties. they are not landlords nor are they industrialists. they have spoken and fought against afghan influx, they have never involved religion in politics. they belong to the middle class and are educated, plus they speak the national language of pakistan. they are the most secular party in pakistan. next time i will vote for them in punjab
