• Thanks for answering my question! I quite like your Lulu Heathcliff suggestion, but with Queecliff and Shicliff, I think Heathcliff has enough self harm IDs, lmao. I think something cool as an alternate kit was something you mentioned in the Base IDs video: Base Heathcliff has a mechanic thats never used again, where on hitting heads with a coin, the next one gains coin power. Lulu has a page where on successfully winning a clash with an evade die, her next die gets a boost in max roll range. I think it would be interesting if it was focused around that, since it would also bring back a mechanic from Base Heathcliff, and tie in with the cards in Library. • A Snow Queen EGO would be quite cool too. I think an interesting mechanic that could introduce is an attack or effect that affects everyone, including your own team. A mass bind or mass immobilize that affects your team would be an interesting way to balance a strong EGO, relying on luck for good targeting, or creating a solo run for a few turns. Snow Queens unique effect of slowly damaging your librarians over time could also be adapted as a psuedo-burn (haha burn on an ice related abno.)

No wonder you were the only guy making actually well structured informative content on Limbus, LobCorp is like the ultimate number cruncher game to me and figuring out how to actually properly manage things like a Queen of Hatred I got before going to Central Command felt satisfying. The kind of person you have to be to tolerate LobCorp and accept how it's good definitely leads you to wanna analyze and optimize a bunch of stuff in similar games, If I had to ask any question I guess it'd be to know what you actually think about the story of the whole PMverse, including any side content like Leviathan, Distortion Detective, or WondeREDACTED. The story is by far the most compelling this to me in these games, and because of the content of your videos, you don't often have a chance to speak in a structured way about what you think about the ongoing stuff in Limbus, and I don't think you've ever mentioned Ruina's story in a video before. Would be cool to know, I guess

On the mass summation thing I think you can have it play out in a clash similar to how in Kromer's fight using her "I Shall Claim Your Life" skill or whatever it was called has a pretty neat way on clashing where Kromer would roll first and throw her nail at whoever's clashing her and then the sinner would roll their coins afterwards to parry the nail back and stagger her. edit - holy shit they did it for magic bullet outis

It’s a roguelike city builder focusing on maximising the resources you’re given to complete the task given to you while avoiding running out the timer, and get really interesting once you understand the depth of the systems available. It’s really good, even if it’s not action roguelikes unlike Issac, Hades etc. Also, congrats on 11k subs (pending) you deserve it, and passion and spite really are good motivators.

From the character designs drawing us in to the unfortunate state of Limbus and frankly PM youtube (and in particular the lack of it) as well as being very anti-gacha despite liking Limbus (even if the quality of Limbus is great, it will always be a stain on its reputation and gameplay). Small youtubers such as yourself and others are carrying the entirety of the high quality PM content burden and its always a joy to find the diamonds in the rough. Diamonds such as Tsunul's canto recaps/analysis, Hydrojoy's incredible 3 hour video essay on Angela (and Roland), Haz Iosefka's Lob/LoR analyses, (though significantly larger) Meti's recent analyses on Kromer and Roland, and of course all the videos you make on Limbus and its gameplay. Please keep up the work and quality and hopefully you inspire others to follow after you and PM's works can get the quality content it deserves on youtube. On another note, I have a question I would like to ask. Do you ever plan on making content reviewing/analyzing/really anything about the writing or story of Limbus?

I love Pequod yi sang. Having a "quick suppression" that actually doesn't roll high in clashes, relies on high stacks of poise to trigger reliably and good animations when it triggers is very satisfying and actually requires careful set up.

I completely understand what you mean about the whole state of Launch Limbus Content. I was doing constant posts to the subreddit trying to teach basic mechanics with QoH graphics I quickly threw together in MS paint. There really was NOTHING at launch that taught people how to play on even the most basic of levels.

Your video-ending-now bit is kinda similar to Duke Nukem parodies where you wait for the guitar at the end its neat (also the algorithm likes when people watch the video till the end)

Its surprising that abnormalities weren't the initial pull to play Lob Corp. For me, that was the thing that drew me in. (I played it when the first english translation was out before it was fixed, the fixed translations made it so much better). I know PM already said that they have no plans at the moment to develop another game, but what genre of game do you think would be a nice edition to the PMverse? Personally, I'd like a game revolving around forming squads to go out and explore the Outskirts for resources/lost tech. Secondly, how do you feel about the addition of more fantasy races to PM? Bloodfiends/Vampires were already confirmed in Ruina. Its likely fae are already real (4 different abnormalities already). LC revealed gnomes/giants. I think they bring neat twists to them all and all the other races seem to hate humans so far.

I'll be honest, when it comes to the "Mechanics from Other Games" section, I kind of wanted different coin types in the same way different Pages had different dice types. Maybe not to the extent of having Dodge and Block on the coins, but Slashing, Blunt, and Pierce mixing sometimes. It's edging a bit more into adding too much complexity, but I think some identities should have it, just to improve their versatility! It's odd to me that Seven Outis' S3 does not deal pure slashing damage when her cane is essentially turning into a hand axe through its blade popping out, or that R Heathcliff's knife attacks have a "slashing" sound effect and a "slashing" animation, but deal piercing damage. Maybe adding multi-coin EGOs would be cool too! Having Ishmael's Snagharpoon initially deal a Piercing coin with the harpoon and following with a Blunt coin on the shield bash just *seems* right on paper, but hasn't been done in practice.

what corporation/district (so far) do you think has the most interesting gimmick? thing is that when i tried to come up with some theme for a singularity of a corporation, i found that in reality some of simpler concepts that were already shown by pm(like F corp all-opening, J corps all-closing, U corps unification(?)(which currently wasnt shown that well imo)) can be expanded into way more applications than one can think off at first. For example E corp i came up with focuses on environmental manipulation, but the singularity itself lies in control of energy present in environment, so for example it can utilise excessive heat to be applied as energy, release energy as heat back, by extend that means that its security personnel can use blades out of solidified gas to impale into adversaries, or just turn opponent into an icicle or vapor cloud, convert mass and energy back and forth, and so on. Also a full team of different corporation employee ids would be neat to align with CEO mindset.

1:33 bro gets juice from the christmas lights also for the mass attacks, one thing i wish was kept was that the animation would play regardless of losing the clash, and the librarians would just use their block(?) sprite. That way we’d get to see things like high speed rip space and still win the clash.

What do you think about the coin power/base power conditionals that seem to represent where the ids/EGO are headed at the moment. More precisely, do you think it is healthy for the game's logevity? Mainly asking as I fear that we eventually get to the point where some cool designs just become outdated because their payoff or setup is worse.

Ah, Arknights. It's legitimately a good game that I would recommend checking out. That said, I stopped playing it because the story failed to get me invested, and I was unable to bring myself to continue playing story stages, and eventually just ended up farming my dailies every day and nothing else until I decided it's not worth it anymore after like half a year of recoiling at the thought of reading more main or event story stuff.

for the second question, i think they are gonna do what you're going for, since Heath himself even in the book, is a low level civillian, he's played up to be a muscle first, brain later character, and throughout the first 5 Canto, we see him as more of a comedic relief character, though not in the same light as Don. Now seeing him so timid and anxious about meeting Catherine, it paints a tone for what is to come. But i would be wrong and Canto 6 will be taken as much of a joke as Canto 2.
