Sri Ramanasramam published this brilliant English abridgement of a monumental work which Bhagavan Ramana refers to often in His Talks.
Bhagavan Ramana encouraged his disciples to study the Ribhu Gita as their sadhana.

@@theperfectcelibate8669 hinduism doesn't work like that Bhagavad Gita is not bible of Hinduism, there are more than 60+ geetas. BG is popular because law of karma has been described there to best and it was used by Adi Shankaracharya to defeat indolent Buddhist at that time and convert them to hinduism back. There are other geetas which have more profound knowledge of "brahman" than BG

Along with Sri Ramana's teachings, the Ribhu Gita can help foster the need to turn with in more, and it helps going back to it when our mind is under the sway of our vasanas (our desires and tendencies) because it helps channel our attention on atma vichara.

@@hellojupiter.mynameiswine.8116 it is real yet it is to be used as a vehicle to grasp the higher reality and consciousness but it can fool you to only be compulsively running after the body ego experience or it can launch you into higher consciousness of understanding you are one with all reality and only your mind can help you get there - It is a very misunderstood concept and Sri Ramana Maharshi speaks about it in places as well as Annamalai Swami - Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to function without a mind and you become a vegetable- what they are saying is you control the mind and not let it control you ...then it is as though you and the mind are not separate

Shame about that. I think once it reaches 10k views+ they start popping ads in. Because I used a bit of copyrighted music in the background, music companies have the right to insert ads to make revenue. Not all of them choose to though and it is their right. In the meantime you have a couple of options, you can install a free adblocker on your computer to prevent this, or download the recordings you want to hear from my Google drive - go to my Community tab on main YT page and scroll down under "read more" where you can find all the links. This one is in Advaita-Vedanta. I will also endeavour to use noncc music in future to prevent ads. With all good wishes.

Makes sense. Not your fault. Even though I admit it can be very jarring to be listening to a deep meditation video or playlist and have a loud-ass Subway commercial come on and shock me out of it, I still appreciate that these are free offerings and that we are fortunate to have access to this at all.😇

Hi Kieron, I used some copyrighted music in this video so YT plays ads to collect revenue for the record company and this music is obviously in the middle of this amazing teaching! Sorry about that. There are many ways to overcome this. On your end, you can simply install an adblocker on your device (search Google for them - many are free); change your browser to "Brave browser" - it blocks all ads on all sites; join YT premium and avoid all ads on YT. The other easy option is to listen to my recordings (and download if you wish) either on my Google Drive or the many Podcast platforms where there are no ads. You can find links to all of these in the top right hand corner from my Home page on my You Tube channel. Hope you can find some good options. The ads will only appear on those readings where the music is copyrighted and I am trying to avoid this now as much as possible. Warm regards
