Thanks for sharing. My question is will a saltwater pool rust everything metal? Such as nuts and bolts that hold down diving board, ladder and patio furniture. And someone said it will damage the concrete as well.

That is a common myth, the level of salt that is used in a pool is a tiny fraction of what the "saltwater" of the ocean is. Generally speaking, chlorine itself is caustic, so if you have pool-grade materials, the low level of salt in the water doesn't have any effect. It's become the standard way to care of pools and has been established for many decades; in fact, the majority of new pools now use salt systems because of how safe and effective it is (7 out of 10 according to Pool & Spa News, as of 2016). can you switch from saltwater to chlorine and how. whats steps do i have to drain the pool

"saltwater" just means using a salt chlorine generator. If you didn't want to generate free chlorine everyday when your pump runs, you could turn it off and go buy chlorine and manually add it to the pool constantly.
