It doesn't matter how perfect and beautiful something is, we can always do something a little bit better which is why food has gotten to the level that I just witnessed. Perfection, it's the journey that is too many times mistaken for the destination.

Yeah. Usually when they do high level decorations the inside is just basic sponge cake, lucky if it's layered with some cream in between 😄

@@Evija3000 They usually do it with rolled fondant and food colouring. Me watching those vids thinking yeah it looks real but probably taste real bad 😅But Amaury uses fruits and soak the cake with wine and do a lot of layers of different textures etc, I can imagine how good it will taste

@@artemishtc Right? These ones are an exception (and I can only imagine how expensive they are), but in general I'd much rather have a classic granny cake than those fondant sculptures that look fancy but probably taste like carboard with artificial flavoring.
