It’s not an easy lifestyle at all. The people that ended raising me just treated me like a slave and abused me. I’m 19 now and I got away from all that. I plan on breaking generational curses.

When I look at this it makes me thankful to be alive and have my kids with me...It was the same things the vacations, fancy cars, large life style ... my ex husband and I would go to Mexico for vacations drop 5 k at tattoo shops, and instantly attract a certain crowd and we'd find ourselves partying with guys that looked like my husband ( tattooed from head to toe) and at the time I didn't realize the dangers of it, to me it was just a normal thing ... I am Canadian and in no way does it compare to this, but I'm so thankful that Im alive, sober and my kids are here with me. I think more stuff like this needs to be aired because it's a really real thing !

I hated going to see my mom in prison. Literally not being able to wear a bra and certain types of clothes…getting searched as a child. Driving 3 hrs just to get denied because you showed up a couple minutes late for the visitor’s acceptance. Man.

22 years is so ridiculous for drug crimes. The system has got to change. Those poor kids. And the couple themselves. The little boy will be a 22 year old man by the time his father gets out. This an entire life all them are missing. Non violent and drug crimes need to be handled differently. Its just so wrong. The prison/jail system is so disturbing and wrong
