You didn't mention that in 2019 Demonaz and Horgh were in dispute over the rights to the Immortal name after Demonaz patented the name without telling Horgh and Horgh appealed and a judge ruled in Horgh's favor, so Demonaz no longer as exclusive rights to Immortal's name. Horgh and Abbath have also started talking again after Abbath got sober, and Abbath is not against a reunion.

Some things I have to say and you get the idea. 1. Anthrax 2. Metal Church 3. Cannibal Corpse 4. Immortal 5. Sodom The remaining bands are Morbid Angel, Opeth and Rammstein. Dang this is gonna be a dark video. Sorry I missed the premiere Oh I didn't know Old Funeral had something to do with Immortal Demonaz reminds me of Mike Ronchette 0:32 Varg becomes part of another triple departure again since Mayhem. 0:35 Demonaz returns 0:40 I love it when I watch an Ale Yanok video and the first studio album song is catchy 1:25 HELLHAMMER!!! 1:40 We got a 4 piece lineup again They're cycling with 2nd guitarists 3:44 There goes the leader When 2021 came in the recap, the video ended immediately I think this is one of the bands where none of the members have died. Grim died in 1999 So this was the 3rd Black Metal band you were taking about in the Sammy Hagar video You probably could've used Grim's photo from the cover as a photo for morphing. Old Funeral reunited on my 10th birthday 1:30 Sounds chaotic but beautiful Those songs Ale put from Old Funeral were also in a demo called The Fart That Should Not Be. I think the title was inspired by Metallica with The Thing That should not be. 3:28 Apollyon has no Corpse paint Tyr's real name is Jim Larsen In 1990 they were all acting crazy in a rehearsal video. Just like Darkthrone, Immortal becomes a duo 1:36 I'm just imagining that they're all bobbing their heads to this song

Immortal was such a great band back in the day. Easily one of the best Black/Thrash Metal bands ever. "Pure Holocaust" the great album it is put them on the map. But to me their best album was "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism". Though they never made a bad album, in my view, they never again achieved a more evil and sinister sound on another album as they did on that one. It personified Black Metal. \m/Immortal\m/

Immortal didn't play Black/Thrash back in the day, the "Abbath Metal" era from At Heart of Winter to All shall fall borrows heavilly from german Thrash, but indeed "Pure Holocaust" is their best

@@MainEventMafia4Life it's simply Black Metal, Pure Holocaust is Pure black metal, anad battles in the north is a brutal form.of black metal, Darkthrone had more thrash in their albums than immortal

@@l.i.v.v4835 - You apparently don't realize that the core sound that makes Black Metal is deeply rooted in Thrash Metal. Go back as far as you want to Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer.... etc. All of them played Black/Thrash. Hence why Thrash Metal is the second most important genre to the evolution of where Metal is today. No Thrash Metal = No Black Metal or Death Metal.

@@MainEventMafia4Life i know exactly what 2nd wave black metal retained from the 1st wave and i know exactly that first wave was more speed thrash that's not my point, the point is there is a gret difference between abbath playing guitar and demonaz's playing and also a huge difference between Immortl 1991-1997-2018 and the period when abbath was playing guitars between 1999-2016, we ALL KNOW about the NO THRASH = NO BLACK, every NOOB KNOWS THIS, but when you say BLACK/THRASH METAL you're refering to bands such as Nifelheim that mix Thrash with Black Metal.

Now Horgh's out of the band. Demonaz is all by himself, and since he's a founding member, he's the only constant member in the band despite not appearing in albums between Blizzard Beasts and Northern Chaos Gods.

New album's gonna come out, War Against All. Demonaz is the only member on the album since he won the dispute of the rights to the band's name against Horgh. It's gonna be on May 26.
