@@lastninjaitachi Hey! As much as I would like to see maximum show, to watch with pop-corn, he's (Matt, not Ken Cannon) not scam (at least, judging by information we have)! Yes, it's an way over-overprice course, which was sold using really questionable marketing tactics, but it's not actually a scam. At least, we don't have proofs that it's a scam (was?). So I think that it's a bit unfair to call him a scam. At least, now. I wonder when we'll see reviews of that course. At least I hope that we'll see any. I'm really curious how it's going, and is it any good and stuff. Well. I hope that there will be people who will have some balls to actually admit that they wasted their money, if that course is not that good, or even really bad. But meanwhile I can't actually imagine how anyone trusted Ken Cannon. You look at that dude's face and just see: "snake oil seller's stock photo". How he speaks, how he talks and stuff, everything just screams: "don't trust this guy, it's another snake oil seller". Lol. And a bit later, they're like: "Hey! We're selling a course!". XD

@@lastninjaitachihe lies, scams, and steals. None of his language learning methods he takes credit for are created by him. He even reported and got a KZfaq channel taken for copyright because he didn't want them to expose what does when the content wasn't stolen at all. His Japanese also isn't as good as he claims it is, he just wants to be seen as a God to all his viewers as it benefits him; it makes it easier for him to scam them. It's impossible to judge someone's language ability unless you yourself are also at a decent level. I spoke to him before many times on discord and he was a d1k, this was all before he got exposed. He even got banned many times from certain discord server but he would always join back using alts and pretend to be someone else every time.

Last thing I watched in jp was a pokemon based youtuber ライバロリ. It's hard to find engaging content on the japanese side of youtube that isn't overly hyped or sensation-type stuff. I need more jp youtubers just talking by themselves in really casual japanese

@@DANGJOS I only watch things made by and for Japanese people, and as much as possible I try to avoid people with big influences from other languages as well (like ハーフ, 帰国子女 or the like). If you know the philosophy of ajatt or immersion based learning in general you obviously know why. But thanks for the effort of listing some channels anyway.

@@PapperLapper Well the last one, Yuna, has a lot of videos only in Japanese, and it's meant for Japanese people. But she does have a few videos (maybe around 10-20% of them) that have a some Chinese and/or English mixed in, since she can speak both of those languages. But I see where you're coming from.

the last piece of Japanese content I watched was ゆる言語学ラジオ its an educational podcast, a lot of the episodes are about English language learning or language in general and 受験勉強 It's very entertaining for me to listen to Japanese people give tips and tricks on learning and studying english for the purpose of taking an exam, especially when a lot of the content is stuff I'd never heard of and sometimes the English is wrong.

To bring another perspective to his scammy things, University courses go for more money. Also, the professors teaching those courses rarely get most of that money so.... I admire Matt but also don't admire him.
