Although clearly they're friends, but I think this ship just shows that Avi is truly a huge flirt. Like, he is so comfortable to give compliments and show appreciation, (friendly) affection towards a same sex friend. Love their friendship, it's warm and heart-melting.

AVI Kaplan and Mitch Grassi really are a fantastic match , and both of their voices and vocals don't sound human possible . I always wonder if AVI is a warlock , Mitch is a siren. PTX will never be exceptionally magic without them.

i absolutely love how comfortable avi is playing around and joking about stuff like this with mitch even tho mitch is gay, often people get really uncomfortable thinking that their friend would get a crush on them or people would think that theyre dating. it's so sweet. it's also so hilarious to me when he uses gay slang, and i love their friendships. even tho i love matt, and won't be choosing between the two, i miss avi so much :(

This is just my thoughts about some of the friction. The trio have been friends for a long big time and I think Scott was shocked how popular Avi and Kevin became. They are so very talented but Avi was slightly older and it showed. In the sing off days they had all just met and they were awkward around each other. You only have to watch later videos to see how close Avi and Kirstie were. As I said it’s only what I saw

I have no idea the real reason, but have always sensed there's some type of major tension between Avi and the trio, and I just feel like Mitch has the intelligence social skills and good nature to bridge the gap, whereas Kirstie seems to barely tolerate or look down on Avi. Whenever Avi's speaking she seems to be looking at Scott to gauge his reaction.

Alexis Heng I've never seen anything to suggest a crush. In Sing-Off days, when Avi had to put his arm around her with Stuck Like Glue and one of the early Xmas songs I forget which, she never glanced at him unless she had to, and looked toward the others during the applause.

if you look at a lot of scott's old vines / old videos in general from 2012 - 2013 there actually is a lot of evidence that they were really close friends at some point (videos of them doing roller derby together, pushing each other playfully on an overpass, her poking his face, him doing lifts with her, etc.)
